If the NRL wants to get serious then
1st penalty is 5 mins in the bin
2nd penalty is 10mins in the bin
3rd (and any sebsequent penalties) the team captain gets binned for 15mins and watch how fast teams stop giving away penalties

I would like to add to your list Ben.
Refs are mic’d up for a reason (this includes the bunker) and it drives me up the wall when commentators continually talk while the ref is explaining a decision to a team captain/player and then those same commentators go and say “what ref said was blah blah blah”
I do not want a commentators version of what the ref/ bunker said I want to here it directly so when something is being explained on field (or via the bunker) then the “listen to me”, commentators …..
Should shut the hell up and let us hear it from the match official concerned.
