'He’s not the best coach': Cobbo makes stunning claim about Kevvie as Broncos off-season dramas continue

43% at NRL level is not acceptable to keep your first grade coaching job.

It is clearly evident that the guy is not a coach.

Shaun Wane wants a NRL job fyi.

Crickets at Broncos HQ – they are running late for the old boys bbq where they get all the best coaching tips.

Even Craig Bellamy wouldn’t have success at Titans. The environment is a distraction to the players and they don’t exactly attract prime talent. How many premierships of any code have won at the GC in the past 40 years?
That team has to be scrapped and relocated to Brisbane.
Kevin Walters and coach shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence.

Seriously, why would the Gold Coast Titans want Kevin Walters as coach?

Paul Gallen is good for the game – wish he was in 4 nations as I was looking forward to seeing him play at suncorp (im qld fan).

Guess I will see him in origin next year. All the best to him.

Has Paul Gallen been punished enough?

Commentators Andrew Johns & Wally Lewis really read the play beyond brilliantly and by geez they get it spot on 99% of the time – eg Wally when he was talking about Ben Hunt tonight ( I had sports ears at the game).

SMITHY: Ennis's antics not enough for the Dogs

Bennett does not need luck – This is the greatest day of being a Bronco Fan since 2009.

Wayne Bennett returns to Brisbane Broncos on three-year deal

100% agree

Wayne Bennett should roll over for Stone at the Knights

As a Rugby League Fan I would be prepared to pay no more than $100 for State of Origin Ticket and actually have purchased the cheapest tickets simply because I thought anything over the $100 mark is simply ludicrous to the average league fan.

I was in disbelief when hearing a marketing advertisement on Brisbane Radio yesterday advertising the tickets for sale….

Thats just silly – They dont need to advertise on radio to sell tickets – reduce the ticket prices and the punters will purchase as opposed to giving that extra money to marketing departments – Orgin gets marketed from day one of Rugby League Season.

Prediction – Prices get reduced a week before origin one (like they did last year)

Tip – Don’t purchase yet and wait until one week before Origin one.

Greed isn't good when it comes to Origin ticket prices

Today in the Den was an absolutely amazing experience that I will never forget.

What an awesome day!

Agree this game should be in NZ tonight as you guys don’t seem to get a fair go of Test Match Home Ground advantages.

Will you attend tonight's Anzac Test?

Will you attend tonight's Anzac Test?

Such an awesome feeling to know that we are number one test side in the world………..

One of my happiest days also as Australian Cricket Fan as they worked bloody hard to achieve that success.

Two thumbs up Clarkey & Boof & Team…..

Clarke demands great Test era

Thats cool – we are all entitled to our opinion however if Hadley and the rest were that bad than how is that they keep their jobs?

They are obviously good enough to get renewed contracts for their work places so they must be doing something right as there are plenty of Journalists snapping at their heels that they are aware of.

In saying that I thought that Bolts was a much better caller in the mid to late 90s however he still gets a 8.5/10 from me – back at his peak he was a 10/10 but I am not sure if his enthusiasm is as high as it once was – it is still there though.

Will you attend tonight's Anzac Test?

The real sporting journos do not write crap (and yes I am a Queenslander and must admit that Sydney have the best Rugby League Journalists) – (That was hard to say by the way).

As a fan – that’s how I like it – a Journalist getting to the players and getting quotes, etc before a game.

It makes it much more interesting and promotes more of a setting, anticipation and a sort of prelude to the game that only the true fans really get and appreciate whilst the fair weather fans may buy a ticket or two if it is a cool game to be seen at and go to.

Obviously, this act has affected journalism reporting to an extent, however if the NRL do not do something about it, we may lose potential and current fans that thrive on hearing the latest and gossip and drama about their club.

It is always interesting when a player makes a statement prior to a big game.

Why I'll watch the A-League instead of the NRL tonight

I do agree with Walter P in saying that there are D&&kheads everywhere and the only thing I would suggest for today’s Sports Professionals is to remove themselves entirely from Social Media as they leave themselves open and vulnerable to strangers opinions that for the very sensitive young sports stars would have damaging psychological effect on them that could affect their performance in a game (except that Ben Barba truly surpassed my expectations last Friday night).

Instead of being on Social Media, these sports stars should be spending quality healthy time with their family and friends that make much more positive impact and I firmly believe that these nasty comments are unwarranted but the fact is that there will always be people that say negative things to spark a reaction.

If I was a coach I would not have my team on Social Media and tell my players – your real friends have your phone number…

David Warner was hilarious when he was howling on the last day courtesy of the ABC Grandstand Radio Commentary that I was listening to at the time.

His howling was in response to South Africa’s comments that said the Australians were like a pack of dogs in the field.

What he does works for him at the moment so if it is not broke, than don’t try to fix it.

Does Graeme Swann really deserve to have his name mentioned in a cricket article?
