I think Lealeafano is a great kicker, but just has a little too much confidence. Perhaps now that he has fallen back down to Earth after that kick, he will reavaluate what he needs to do to be a world-class goal kicker.
If kicking wins World Cups, the Wallabies are in serious trouble
“Force-Waratahs
The Rebels play very well as a team, and played the referee very well. They slowed the ruck down and spoiled good ball. Waratahs were unable to vary their game to cope with rushing defence and slow ruck ball. They relied on individual brilliance to score tries and it was not good enough.
Force
A. Coleman 7.5/10
B. McCalman 7.5/10
R. Louwrens 7.5/10”

Super Rugby Australian player ratings: Round 13
He stood out among the outside-centres this round for me. And that is why I chose him.
Australian Conference team of the week: Round 13
Yeah mate, but Fainga’a and Pocock played better on the weekend. If I put subs in this team he would be first.
Australian Conference team of the week: Round 13
Zac is amazing. When his defence picks up he has the talent to be the next big thing
Western Force: The good, the bad and the ugly
Yes, they are very slow at the breakdown despite winning the majority of them.
Western Force: The good, the bad and the ugly
There is no way you can go past McCalman at number eight… come on…
My realistic Wallabies team for the Rugby World Cup
Here’s one for you Brett.
Kyle Godwin has reached match winner status.
Kieran Longbottom has been replaced by Hoskins and Faulkner. Two people that an east coast fan won’t have heard of, but will be hearing of quickly.
Cottrell to make the 2015 world cup squad (32 man).
And you’re right about Foley. You heard it here first, they are going to come out and dominate
The only Super Rugby questions at this time of year
I know he isn’t the greatest winger in the world, but if you think he is that bad, I don’t think you’ve watched him play that much, or you don’t really have a grasp on the role of a winger.
He can’t:
Kick – Why would a winger need to kick?
Catch a highball – He is fine at catching highballs
Pass – Wingers are the last in the line of backs. It’s so rare he would pass
Tackle – Have you actually watched him?
Step – He busts through people
Have the strength to bump players off – See above point
Fend – See above point
He can;
Run straight at a decent pace – “Decent” HA! See Force vs Waratahs at NIB Stadium in 2014.
I can’t believe I just went through that much effort to tell someone they are wrong.
A look ahead: My Wallabies 2015 Rugby World Cup squad
Well I have access to 2 players and 1 coach (all Perth Spirit) every week, so I could give that a go for the remaining two rounds!
NRC: Interview with Perth Spirit's Robbie Abel
For the Spirit the Worthies were Ian Prior, the whole back three; Marcel Brache, Luke Morohan, Dane Haylett-Petty and Junior Rasolea at 13.
A non-glamorous player was Sam Wykes who captained the side and commanded the lineout well.
The Spirit held off Skelton so well. The forward pack looked fantastic on defence. The Stars had a very classy front row and just couldn’t get anything going with them at all.
The NRC wrap Round 6: If the sun shines, they will come
Mate Skelton had a shocker. He had a lazy game and would go to ground very easily. He was often standing out with the backline as well.. which was very strange… He had no use there and it shows some serious flaws in the coaching and Stars gameplan, or he just isn’t listening to instructions. His best work is done at the breakdown, and running in a pod of three forwards. He hardly did this at all.
NRC: Perth Spirit demolish Sydney Stars
Yep, it will be pretty hard for the Spirit to make the playoffs as they haven’t had their bye yet. Their fate will most likely be put into the hands of other results.
NRC: Perth Spirit demolish Sydney Stars
Their affiliate team is on a good path to taking out the NRC mate!
NRC: Perth Spirit demolish Sydney Stars
Hi Rob, there is no match replay for this game as of yet, that’s up to RugbyWA. I know there was a camera man, Keep an eye out for updates on the Perth Spirit Facebook page,
In regards to fielding the top team each week, it can defeat the purpose of the competition. I have interviewed a few of the Perth Spirit players and they will tell you, every time, that the priority is getting the young guys a taste of the next level. Results are secondary.
In my interview with Marcel Brache he said “This is a wonderful stepping stone for a number of guys who are just below Super Rugby level and who can put their hands up and say ‘I’m also here to play’, I think it’s an awesome initiative and it’s going to be great for Australian rugby.”
NRC: Perth Spirit demolish Sydney Stars
Skelton got dominated in general play, they would just grab his feet and he wouldn’t even fight, Just would go straight down
NRC: Perth Spirit demolish Sydney Stars
Getting one signing out of this is basically the best case scenario.
Perth Spirit should play their youngsters over the Super Stars
Yes they need to really work the bench SR guys
Perth Spirit should play their youngsters over the Super Stars
It’s the third tier. It’s meant to be the level of players below
Perth Spirit should play their youngsters over the Super Stars
Perth is different to places like NSW and QLD in the sense that we have hardly any homegrown talent. This has been the perfect chance for them to unearth a few guys who haven’t got the exposure, and it seems they are wasting it.
What do you mean by “they are making a mockery”?
Perth Spirit should play their youngsters over the Super Stars
I wish we could have AFL State of Origin, but they do not have enough pride, and there is not enough history for the first rate players to want to play seriously. It really sucks..
