Yes u saw us last night, that does not mean it isn’t possible to go on and win consecutive series. Yes we got flogged and no one saw it coming, we are every chance at even winning the series 3-0 next year theres always a chance and are team is young we will get better.

He has signed on for a few more years to coach them. Ive always hated how the coach is the first to go, he coached us to a series victory last year, how easily people turn on the coach once the team loses. Yes it was a massive loss but we cant call for the sack of Laurie straight away.

Qld even cancelled a training session because they are ‘so in-synced with each other’ .If that isn’t arrogance i don’t know what is. QLD have to be careful they have every right to be arrogant for winning 8 in a row but before they know it there arrogance will cost them and they will be left with their heads in the sand wondering what went wrong. Realising that they should’ve not become so cocky because loosing sucks. The past 2 years QLD have only one by a field goal and one extra goal(1 and 2 points). We have such a calm cool and collected kicker now, things will be different this year, the blues will win.Everybody laughing now just you wait , i will come back to this comment and say i told you so.

And i think that Storm loosing to the warriors just supports my case much more. The Storm have to win half of their games to make the cut off just come september time(9 out of 18 games left)

Why isn’t Aiden sezar getting a mention ? he plays beyond his years. And if anyone thinks Gidley is so overated and his time playing for nsw has come and gone, we need peats and reynolds for a swap between dummy half. And Hayne is a much stronger defender then Dugan at the back, I really wish dugan could play fullback but hayne is unstoppable at the back we need him wearing the 1 on his back.

Clark I don’t recall any year where people have stated that the storm will miss the finals? I hope they make the finals, they are very entertaining to watch when they are at their best. I just think they will just get there or just miss out. The Origin period is going to be a real struggle for them.

Ill take whatever compliment I can get out of that. Just my thoughts so I wrote it in a article, and didn’t think it would grab this kind of attention. I’m studying to be a sports journalist so I thought I should start to practice.
Will Ricky save the day for the Raiders?
Australia are capable of winning a game without him. Australia have great depth in there quicks and at times there batting is ok. Australia have always struggled with batting. For a test series there is always an opener who doesn’t perform quite well and its always Haddin or Clarker, or even Smith saving the Aussie’s by posting a big score. Johnson comes into the frame by bowling excellently and getting quick wickets. This obviously only lowers the run chase for the opening batsmen. Australia can’t rely on Johnson to fire otherwise there run chase is going to be a difficult one. Saying that other bowlers have come into test matches with momentum that has won Australia games. Peter Siddle was amazing 2 or 3 years ago for the Aussie’s. There is a variety of young talent coming through that Australia need to bring to there test match side if they want to build there team so it doesnt crumble because to many cricketers retire at once.

Love the team except you need Brett Morris in there and Lyon has had hes day i would replace him with Jennings. Take Mason out put Gallen there, Gallen runs hard and straight, he is an excellent lock but when Origin comes around he loves to run it up the middle. Take Sims out and put Bird there, Bird was NSW best player last year he is a must in the side. And Hinchcliffe is a great utility, but Lewis is a more experience player and can also cover anywhere except 1,7,9. I would add Ryan James to the extended bench, I feel that he is going to prove his worth this year and come out guns blazing.

Love your side except Gidley’s time in the NRL has gone and Maloney isn’t a halfback, NSW selectors will choose Pearce but being a NSW supporter I hope that they pick Reynolds. He needs to start Origin early. New debuts just seem to come back from Origin and play at another level. I think that Reynolds will mature quicker playing for NSW.

The NRL does it’s best to move on quickly, no one wants the NRL name to be known for off-field incidents. NRL has so many people watching the players that even if they have moved on some other news source will show it repeatedly to get some controversy out of it and get more people talking. There are so many people that are going to show it on the news and write about them on articles. If they NRL do solve the problem the media talk about the incident will turn away quicker.
NRL needs a quicker way of dealing with off-field incidents
Agreed origin will definitely hurt them, and that’s let them down in the past. This year they need to muscle up and survive origin and have a strong run from round 20-26. I am worried about the centers being a titans fan, they have struggled in the centers ever since Matt Rogers moved into 5/8. Hopefully underrated players in the centers can get the job done( pressures on Blair and Tighe).

BA Sports, Zillman suffered an injury which stopped his terrific run that he had. Hayne is definitely a higher class player than Zillman, it’s just when Eels rely on Hayne to much he doesn’t play to well. Hayne also only was 2 tries ahead of Zillman that’s not that much of a difference. I would have Hayne as my fullback, however if the Eels don’t fire and turn to Hayne to solve all there problems I think Zillman might have a better year (excluding Origin) than Hayne. We will see come round 26 though.

Hayne was still at fullback last year and the Eels came dead last again. Zillman was tearing it up at fullback and was leading most line breaks in the comp at one stage. So Zillman had the edge there, granted Hayne is a tremendous player but he only brings the x factor to the Eels if he isn’t being depended on hugely throughout the season, then he can’y produce anything for them. Titans finished 9th with Eels finishing last and by the end of the season the Titans 1,6,7,9 were performing better than the Eels 1,6,7,9. The Titans also had a second string side and beat the Roosters, I don’t think Eels could compare to that. Therefore i don’t see how this year the Eels could improve to be better than the Titans. The Eels will improve, they can’t get worse, however they will not make the finals.

The Titans have improved from each year since winning the wooden spoon. They are gradually making there way to the top 8. 2 year ago they finished 11th, then last year they finished 9th. I believe they can win the big games against roosters, manly and storm to get into the finals as they proved last year with a second string side.

Im with you on the Pierce comment but Farah has showed that he is a great state of origin player. Yes he made that mistake but he is such a top notch player. I think Ennis is great with all of his mungral like attitude when he plays, but Farah shows far greater skills than which Ennis has shown.

I do agree Dugan is still very good at full back, if he is fit come origin time and he has been playing well i would put him at full back, if not put Hayne there again. Hayne was tremendous in the first game last year. But if dugan is at full back put hayne in the centers, he is a total waste out on the wing. Put Josh Morris on the wing, he has played state of origin on the wing countless of times. And yes pierce has won a premiership and world cup challenge but I just don’t see him maturing into a real state of origin player. I still believe Adam Reynolds is the man to take over him. Yes he might get belted around the park and he has crumbled under pressure, but so did Pierce at one point in his career. If not next year, in the following years don’t be surprised if Reynolds leads NSW to a series win.

Yes pierce might hold some form which would be great for nsw but kurt’s time is over for nsw he is to old. He is an excellent player but josh Reynolds is a better utility choice for me.

yes hes a disgrace and has a lot of trouble problems in his life. Now I am a fan of him when he plays especially for the blues. He reminds me of a Young Greg Inglis When he plays on the field. I suggest the Gold Coast Titans pick him up. The Gold Coast Titans might struggle with lack of experience following the departure of Jamal Idris. How ever with Blake Ferguson in the side it would add tremendous depth to the sides outside backs.The Titans are known for taking bad boys in and transforming them into representative stars. The Titans have taken in Greg Bird, Nate Myles and Albert Kelly in and transformed them into very high profile talented players. I have no doubt that the Gold Coast can’t do the same to Ferguson. My conclusion move to the Gold Coast and he will be one of the games high profile players.

No! leave him at fullback for a couple of years, Lockyer played for QLD at 1 and 6 so if Moylan is going to be a copy of him do it like that. But yes James Roberts with the ball in hand early from a wide shift of the ball, just imagine that! hes speed and power how he just runs over the top of players. Absolutely no one in the QLD team could catch him, NO not Inglis or Gagai not anyone!
