its a funny game our is…I think that Manly are the goods and in some form but the bunnies will deal to them this weekend..the roosters are top notch and by all posts should be premiers come Oct but the knights will have something to say..they have prep’d for all the likely candidates (my Doggies, Titans, Panthers, Broncos and the usual candidates in the top 8) but the are they ready for the knights and Master coach Bennett? If wayne Bennett can turn the Kiwis into the world champs he sure as heck can turn a bunch of raggedy ole “cant put the ball down properly” players into champs as long as they buy into the system..

what a bunch of sooks… how many other guys have and are doing the same type of tackle? only reason Lima got pulled up for it was that it was on “Wat-Huh?”mough and his precious knee.. PLEASE any other lower profile player and no one would have cared. The same type of tackle that looks to attack the leg to bring the player whilst being held is happening all over the joint. Manly should be thankful Lima’s playing because he’s mud anyway

agreed this is a great signing for the warriors now, but projected 750K out each year for the next 3 years is a huge chunk out of the already sparse salary cap so where does that leave the guys coming up already and hoping to stay knowing that more than likely they will have to leave due to salary cap restrictions? You think Tompkins has the same impact SBW has?
As much as I would love to be optimistic for the warriors nothing leads me to believe that the are and will change anything dramatically next year.
On there day the warriors are top 8 even top 4 but those x-factors the things the roosters got fixed this year primarily defence, and ability to play out there sets with a positive outcome and good options thats whats missing for the warriors, and who knows Tompkins might spark Leuluai in to some sort of form but doubt rather than hope…

What a joke. Billy Slater comparisons? Billy still needed the players in front of him to be at least half decent and with Cronk and co, Billy was able to shine. Who has Tompkins got at the warriors? no one
Another decision that has all but sunk the warriors for the next 3-4 years while they sit and watch homegrown talent look overseas and the club will flounder as it does to make the 8. When will managament learn? The Titans will win a title before the warriors do.

OMG! someone making sense! LoL! Poor Genia was being manhandled got no clean ball and the saffers were on him like plaque on dirty teeth! couldnt get over the gain line because by the time the ball got recycled the backline was already up limiting QC’s options..also havent mentioned the scrum was a joke..easy to run a bakcline when your getting frontfoot ball from setplay but when your not they balme the fellah with the 10..hard but true…

ode to watch the boys win a series and stop them from getting the 10 they think they are gonna get.
we were close, but all it is is the little things and we fall over in those, thats what seperates us now.
The boys are not over awed anymore, we can play against the gun players like Inglis and nullify their ability but the little things.
We completed 14/19 sets on Wednesday and consider that its not to bad. QSLD completed 17/19. We were also on the wrong end of a penalty count on our hometurf? WTH? ill discipline and lack of game awareness, the Mafoons get that quick play the ball, run at our non-existent markers who have no choice but to tackle them or give up nearly 20 meters per hitup..
Pearce must go, whats the use of being able to kick the ball 50-60 mtrs if thats all you do and play turnstile defence? Sorry but it is what it is…

I’m with Sheek on this one, this team currently are a gun team but the team of 87-91, from 1-13 anyone from those sides you could put ina team now, later and future and they would be awesome. across the board you measure against whether you would take someone over another in thier prime.. Cronk over Langer NOT Thurston over Lewis NOT Slater over Belcher(tough but NOT) Boyd over Shearer? Cronk over Walters either Kerrod or Steve..I dare you to choose cos either one of those boys would be more useful ..Umm yeah NOT Inglis would be the only player, oops wait over Mal? over Miles? Old Man Hodges anywhere in there? NOOOOT!
This is a great side the current side no doubt and will go down in history as A great team, (this is from a diehard NSW-Bleed Blue Doggies combined Belmore til I die fan) but measure them in the truest sense as a team against team man for man and 87-91..legends (i reaaaaaally dont like them) HOF members..this current crop acolades galore, but dont sully the “dream team” by comparing against Lebron Inglis and his peers…them boys would get eaten up ALIVE running a ball straight at the AXE…

Tyson had swept all before him, no one and I mean on one came within a Koo-ee of putting a chink in the armour, but afew life decision changes, change of trainer, laziness in technique etc gave James Buster Douglas the oppurtunity and the rest is history…

If the dream really was “that good” and I am not saying he’s not because he was an incredible player, why didnt they get thru the West to meet MJ and the Bulls. You discount the Lakers of 91, the Blazers of 92 and Barkley’s Suns of 93. The West was stacked and it’s testament to the Bulls that regardless of conference, they were the goods and Jordan really was GOAT.
Hakeem had great numbers, Jordan has the championship and dare I say it, if Jordan had not gone on hiatus, they could have had as many as 8 championships in a row JUST putting it out there.

Im tired of hearing them say “QSLD will win and then head to game 3”..
this is where I hope NSW have turned a corner, man up and steal all the chooks from hen house, right under the QSLD farmers nose LoL!..
No one is giving them any hope and yes logic, history, sanity! even, would have it that QSLD on paper, on situation, on form across the park should win this in a canter…
