Fair call Im not dismissing the work that the ABs of old did to be able to achieve in those moments. The point Im making is perhaps its simply the fact the team perhaps isnt good enough to do that anymore yet everyone expects they should be. To use a cricketing analogy when Shane Warne retired there wasnt another leg spinner to throw the ball to who could knock over the tail for under 10 runs… But who knows they could come out and smash the Pumas by 40 points next game?

In the last week Ive heard criticism of the coach, the captain, the tactics, the team, the kicking game, the running game, the forward pack, the half back and the backs even the Barretts god forbid!! I know its hard for you guys to accept after such a long period of unparalled success. But just maybe you had an exceptional group of once in a lifetime players who were well coached but have retired. The Australian Cricket team of 10 years ago was the same. You simply cant just turn up and win the game 5 minutes before half time and 5 minutes before the end of the game anymore. If you are 5 or 10% off on the day off you lose to good teams….that’s how top level sport should be.

It would appear Falou is in breach of contract although none of us have seen his contract. What beggars belief is that the CEO publicly sacks an employee without due process… what compounds the debacle is when the coach then says the player won’t play again …. the board and executive would have been sacked years ago if the ARU was a public company or if the Rugby supporters of Australia had a vote.

Yep this is a very similar team to the one Id go with. I don’t think Haylet Petty has had a fair crack given he was the best number 15 during the Super season and has been stuck on a wing…..(Coaches seem to think if you play in the back line you can play anywhere….Too many ex Forwards as coaches!?) So Id consider Hodge at centre as another playmaker (dropping Kerevi) and Haylet petty at full back

I think this is the best side we have …Toomua needs to perform Cos there is lots of competition at centre but his maturity and game sense gets him over the line …I’d also like to see a change of captain and JOC has handled the leadership role well…Hooper makes bad calls under pressure
