My life pretty much revolves around sport. Whether it be trying to watch as many games of rugby league as possible or getting up at 3am on a Monday to watch the NFL, there isn't anything I would rather be doing.

I am currently (2013) in my second year of a Bachelor of Sports Media at the University of Canberra with the aim of being able to work as apart of the media team with a professional sports team.

I'm also a Seinfeld fanatic. There is never a day that goes by when I'm not involved in a Seinfeld moment.

Melbourne Storm vs Manly Sea Eagles: NRL live scores, blog

Yeah, if they want to have extra time, make it first try scored. If no try is scored after 10 minutes, then call it a draw. There was no flow to the game because the field goal attempts kept going dead and the defence got to set their line again. The Fox Sports commentator said something like the last 12 (might have actually been higher) golden point games have been decided by a field goal. Thats not what you want to see.

Melbourne Storm vs Manly Sea Eagles: NRL live scores, blog

As a Manly supporter, I couldn't be happier with their performance tonight. They were rock solid in defence. To be able to hold a team like Melbourne out for that many sets in a row in the second half in a real credit. While they didn't show a whole lot in attack, they didn't really have the ball in an attacking position. I would love to see the tackles in each teams 20m. They will take a lot out of that game. Although I definitely think Manly were the better side over a majority of the game, I am happy with one point. It will surely ignite the golden point debate, but it would have been heartbreaking for Manly if they walked away with nothing.

How to increase crowd numbers in the NRL

I agree with the ticket prices being reduced, but I don't know about to $10. If you are only getting 10,000 at $25 a ticket, you suddenly aren't magically going to get another 15,000 people through the gates. While I think that reducing tickets will obviously bring more people through the gates and make clubs more money through food sales, parking and merchandise, it isn't feasible to cut it by that much. As for cutting all 8 NRL clubs in Sydney is ridiculous. You would lose a huge majority of rugby league fans. All those South Sydney supporters that for years fought to get there club back in the NRL would be lost. Look at all the North Sydney supporters who are still trying to get back in the competition. I bet a number of them haven't taken up another team to support. Also, how can you reduce 8 teams of players (NYC as well) into just four teams. This will never happen.
