Yup, they were good games to watch, especially France v England. Love how the French can do that and they will do it again next week too. Farewell to the Wallabies and Pumas.

Hurrah! Wales and France win playing real rugby

Prepare to be amazed.

Halves guide France and Wales to upset victories

South Africa, France, All Blacks and Wales or Ireland (can’t pick it) to progress to Semi Finals.

RWC finals picks: Wallabies, England, Ireland, All Blacks

Bryce, crouch – touch – paaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuusssssssse – engage, Lawrence is a pretty ordinary referee, let’s face it. However, he will only contribute to the Wallabies loss against the Springboks, not be responsible for it.

Lawrence to blow the Wallabies out of RWC

They can but they won’t.

Ireland can make the Rugby World Cup final

They would have lost the Semi’s with or without DC.

Are the Carter-less All Blacks capable?

You’re right, everything would suggest that the AB”s are the team to beat but scratch the surface… It will be exposed when the AB’s meet South Africa in Semi’s.

All Blacks star Carter out of World Cup

Thanks for the compliment Matt, appreciate the feedback. Um, just an observer like yourself but hope you remember this particular post in a couple of weeks time 🙂

All Blacks star Carter out of World Cup

The campaign for the All Blacks was over long before Carter got injured. He’s just the nut falling off the creaky wheel 🙂

All Blacks star Carter out of World Cup

True 🙂

All Blacks star Carter out of World Cup

Um, South Africa?

All Blacks star Carter out of World Cup

Newcastle can and will go all the way in 2011.

Knights not waiting for Wayne: Gidley

Making mistakes is not failure but not learning from them is.

Graham Henry making the same mistakes

GH has lost the plot on this one, How can u leave out players like Gear, Sivivatu, Ranger etc, what was he thinking?

Kiwis have no wings for the Rugby World Cup

Nope, the World Cup has come to late.

Have the All Blacks peaked too soon?

I don’t condone violence but Richie should have smashed his face in by now. What’s doing?

All Blacks view Quade as cheap-shot artist

Yup, could be onto something there. However, I get the feeling it’s a combination of Cooper’s growing confidence and the AB’s losing theirs. Reminds me of Phil Kearns giving Sean Fitzpatrick.the 2 fingered salute. Why does Richie never retaliate? Should of slammed the little f”;(ker by now.

Quade Cooper cleared of kneeing McCaw

The wheels might be falling off the AB’s approaching the WC but the nuts and bolts were coming loose some time ago.

Wallabies rattle the All Blacks

Well done Wallabies, good game. Pocock, Genia and Cooper played well. AB’s looked ordinary in first half and had no answer to onslaught. Can’t believe Zac Guildford is only specialist winger in WC squad. How can u leave out players like Gear, Sivi and Ranger?

Wallabies defeat All Blacks in Tri Nations decider

Agree but although lucky to be there, would stop short of saying Guildford is a joke.

Who cares about the fight! Tri Nations are on the line

A bit thin on quality props, especially if Woodcock injured and why 3 hookers? Would have gone with a specialist backup to McCaw instead of Vito. 3 6’s chosen with no number 8 a worry (stil think Read is a converted 6), Vito could possibly become a reasonable number 8 but has played most of Rugby @6. Why 3 halfbacks? The rest ok but would have included Sivi and Ranger.

Kiwi quartet face World Cup despair

Yup, they have to select SBW now. Lot of money spent to put pressure on Ma’a but seems to be working. By the way wasn’t the whole reason for TMO’s being used was to confirm/deny whether a try has been scored? His job is to confirm the grounding. How hard can it be? Why did he even bother to mention the forward pass? The referee got it wrong twice, once for missing the forward pass and secondly for ruling incorrectly on TMO’s judgment that was not part of his job description.

Seven home truths for the All Blacks

Agree Ivan. Predicting South Africa to beat France in final

Seven home truths for the All Blacks

“…showed courage, conviction and vision…” Really? He was the one that appointed Rocky Elsom in the first place and not selecting Matt Giteau is a mistake. Robbie Dean’s explanation? He wanted to go with 3 specialist half backs. Desperation more like it.

Deans' Baa-Baas brain fade: Giteau

The outcome of next weeks match will be decided by which Haka they choose.
