Best team to put on the park from all available/eligible players. Throw caution to the wind and let them play ideally under a whole new coaching structure.

VOTE: Wallabies DIY player ratings vs Wales

Certainly didn’t look good….. I can understand the frustration on behalf of Genia, the game was closed out and with no bonus points on offer whats the point of continuing the game???
But definitely not the time or place to carry on the way that both of them did.

Five talking points from Wales vs Wallabies

Anyone else see the spray Genia giving Foley that resulted in Moore stepping in at the end of the game ?????

Best team you can put on the park

All Blacks wallop the Wallabies because of course they did

They appoint the coach who is not selecting the best players in their positions in Australia and hasn’t for some time

Wallabies team to play Italy: Cheika swings the axe after Scotland debacle

We can argue all day about player selection and quality of cattle but really they are just a result of the deeper rot of governance at the ARU.

Cheika answers to someone and he has been allowed to continue in the same manner for the last 3 years

Wallabies team to play Italy: Cheika swings the axe after Scotland debacle

The best outcome for Australian Rugby is going to require more pain for at least the next 12-18 months.

Cheika and co will not change in the way that they operate so it will require a huge catalyst for change to occur. That catalyst will be a 3-0 smashing in the bledisloe, only 1 win from The Rugby Championship (against Argentina at home). Those results and performances are going to hurt the fans and rugby in Australia but maybe it needs to happen.

Going forward the structure of rugby in Australia needs to completely change.
-> The whole ARU board needs to resign or be removed. All positions re-advertised. Right down to the front office staff
-> All Australian Super Rugby Teams need to be centralised like in NZ, under direction and guidance of a proven high performance team.
-> All ARU top up contracts need to be reviewed (would love these to be performance based)
-> The Wallabies coaches and support staff all need to go.

This would require a strong leader that can stand and face the rugby public and state that we have been travelling down the wrong path for a number of years and it is going to take major change to right the ship so to speak.

Unfortunately all of this would require a large financial pay out of contracts etc which I don’t know if enough dollars exist at the moment.

A turn around is possible but it would take absolute commitment and the right people in the right places.

Wallabies team to play Italy: Cheika swings the axe after Scotland debacle

The clock is running out before the RWC 2019

This June Test window was probably the last chance to seriously build a team towards that tournament.

The Horne selection is ridiculous so I will leave that alone ……
I think Ned needs the chance to build into his test career.

If Moore is starting then surely Latu will be named on the bench and it would have been the perfect opportunity to play DHP at fullback and Israel on the wing. I just don’t understand why this is still not happening.

And can we please see Powell, Cooper and Hunt for longer than 10 minutes… at least Cooper has some attacking spark and the ability to read the situations presented in front of him.

I’d like to see the axe swung over the coaching group including support staff (especially S&C there is no excuse to be fading from the contest in the last 20mins)
