Dire infrastructure? Haven’t seen Sydney Utd’s ground lately then?

FFA has gone too far in its attempt to de-ethnicise football

Fluke?
The 2006 squad was full of players playing in the best leagues and at the peak of their careers. Hopefully in a few years time we have a group to rival that, but to say that group of players achieved what they did as a fluke isn’t quite fair.
We matched Uruguay, Brazil, Croatia and Italy and beat Japan in the space of a year.

People try to put us down, but this is the Socceroos' new golden generation

Umm Wanderers played mid-week too. So did Victory. What is your solution for this then? Playing the game on Monday night?!
Wanderers used virtually a whole new team for their ACL campaign by signing players on short term deals, maybe CCM should have done that so they could compete on both fronts.

Wanderers book A-League grand final spot

This article is complete rubbish. For a start, WSW train and are based during the week at Blacktown and just play games at Parramatta. As countless other people have said, Parramatta is the centre of Western Sydney and therefore an easy place for people from all parts of western Sydney to get to.
There are zero incentives for WSW to move any games to Campbelltown or Penrith, absolutely zero.

It's time for the Wanderers to live up to their name

Bit harsh maybe? Harry looked good last night and showed, when fit, he still has it.

Wanderers ruin Kewell send off

Sydney FC have to let Del Piero go after this season. He can’t finish a game and last night some of his passing was awful. All he has now are free kicks.
He was also to blame for Roar’s first goal because he was strolling back into position and keeping Broich onside.
As for the rest of the team…another big clear out is needed.

Brisbane Roar thump Sydney FC 5-2

What about Teddy Sheringham then?
I don’t think you can confuse ability with the ability to play until an older age.

Is Ryan Giggs simply the best?

I think the crowd average for midweek games when they were played a few seasons ago was about 6000. Compared to the then average for all games of about 8500, so it was significantly lower.
Monday night games are only played in the NRL so Fox have another night to show a game and they have awful crowds.
I really don’t think we need, or will, go down that path.
