I am 17 years old & absolutely obsessed with watching Cricket. No joke, my family legit think I am crazy! “From our broadcasting box you can’t see any grass at all. It is simply a carpet of humanity.” -Richie Benaud

You have to be delusional to think this team can beat India. Also, Indian batsmen are not susceptible to pace, it’s swing which their batsmen struggle with. And considering the flat pitches served in Australia, they are not going to have to deal with that one bit. And btw, that top 6 is the most weakest I have ever seen play for Australia. And surely, Joe Burns must replace Marcus as opener. Burns has more experience and a better FC average. Also, Indian bowlers are not to be taken lightly. All of them were bowling speeds upwards of 85 mph on average against England. And they clearly out outbowled the South African seamers in South Africa, if it wasn’t for their fragile batting order, they could have won. This is probably the first series IN A VERY LONG TIME that Australia will not start as favourites at home!

The Australian cricket team will surprise us this summer

Smith should stick to Tests, he is nothing but baggage in limited overs Cricket. Smith is too slow to get going, useless in the death overs and struggles to accelerate when the pressure is on. At the end of the day, it’ll be better if Smith just chooses to focus on Tests and lets the limited overs stuff be handled by youngsters, led by an aggressive Warner.

Tired and stressed: Steve Smith’s ODI spin is loud and clear

I'm the right man to lead ODI side: Smith

I agree that more ‘diverse’ voices are necessary, if u want to call it that. The likes of Warne, Slater and Healy are terrible, others can’t do any worse. To be honest, does it really matter if u have even played Cricket? If u are a good public speaker that knows a fair bit about the game, you’ll do just fine. The analytics can be left to the experts, while the humor & jokes should be left for the public speakers. A great example is ‘shooterwilliamson’ (check out his INDvAUS video on Youtube) or ‘Ozzy Man Reviews’.

Although, I do not agree with ur opinion on women in society. The gender wage gap is a myth, over 90% of economists have brutally denied it & called it ‘idiotic’. The 77c on the dollar theory is calculated as a mean for all jobs, not counting the fact that high paying jobs such as doctors, lawyers, bankers are ALL dominated by men while low paying jobs like nurses, maids, social workers are ALL dominated by women. Also, women have to take care of children & due to the stress, more often than not they are forced to work less hours than their males colleagues thus miss out on bonuses and extra pay. There are also many other reasons which contribute to this. Seriously, don’t tell me ur going to challenge these economists, especially since they have spent years in uni earning a degree, and published academic papers on topics just like this!

This is an article by a female student at Harvard with a degree in economics explaining the whole thing!

If u want a more visual option, than this video should explain the gender wage gap as well.

As for equality, what more do women want? I think u should definitely read into the hypocrisy of ‘modern feminism’. Believe in LOGIC and FACTS, not feelings! Look, I am a liberal myself but that doesn’t mean I believe in things, just because people say its true. u should question everything, that is wt got humans to where we are today!

Women's sport weekly wrap: When too much sport is never enough

I slightly disagree, this would be my Australia XI if all players are fit

1: Finch
2: Warner
3: Smith (c)
4: Head
5: Maxwell
6: Wade (wk)
7: Faulkner/Stoinis
8: Cummins
9: Starc
10: Pattinson/Hazlewood
11: Zampa

Reasoning
-Warner & Smith are the first name on the sheet
-Finch has proved himself to be a successful opener & has great chemistry with Warner
-Chris Lynn would be an automatic #4 but he is as fragile as glass. I seriously doubt he even has a future in the game, apart from being a T20 specialist, therefore Travis Head must be given a longer run
-Maxwell’s crazy ability to hit sixes at will, makes him a ‘MUST’ for limited overs Cricket. He can be the difference between 300 or 350, we can all sense that ‘big innings’ is just around the corner
-Wade is an unfortunate choice as Australia has not groomed anybody apart from him to keep in limited overs Cricket, therefore we have no choice but to pick him. As for Handscomb, its a BIG NO, because even if ur a bit slow behind the stumps or unable to reach the delivery on time, u can cost the team more than 20 runs & a wicket a game
-Faulkner/Stoinis are both good limited overs all-rounders. They can hit hard & bowl a good deal of variations, they’re priceless to the limited overs team
-Starc & Cummins have express pace & swing. Even on an average day, they can be brutal, its just what Australia need to showcase their dominance in World Cricket
-Pattinson/Hazlewood, it depends if u want the swing of Hazlewood (English, Kiwi & South African Conditions) or the pace of Pattinson (Rest of the World), both are good choices but it entirely depends on the conditions
-Zampa, a very useful leggie, he is a wicket-taker but most importantly, he can keep an end quiet which can allow the seamers to attack from the other end. A spinner should be mandatory in any limited overs side, they can be very useful especially in ‘slow’ conditions

Selection blunders are hurting Australia
