Fair call Christo - however if the value of the AFL dipped by $460 million in a single year, while the league lost its title sponsor and a host of other sponsors, do you think Andrew Demetriou would be concerned? Maybe. And if tv ratings plummeted at the same time, I think league bosses would be mightily worried.

Top order troubles for Australia ahead of third test

Cheers Angus. I think Warner and Cowan deserve an extended run at the top, while Watson's form since the 2009 Ashes has been good. With that said, I'm sure that all three would like to be scoring more runs. The tour will be great experience for Cowan and Warner. I agree that the media pressure has influenced recent selections, though the new panel seems to be less affected by such factors.
