Well its definately not the 80’s anymore, of course the NBL used to house a much more exciting style of play to watch but its seemed that in some teams communities they haven’t had as much of an involvement in the grass roots level, which over time has of course resulted in less and less fans.
I remember back when the Bullets were on their last championship run that the only scrap of info about them out in the public was a ticketek ad I saw on the train one day.
It’s been such a steady decline though that its going to take a great deal to get back up from club teams playing against a couple of US college teams in the off season.
Not to mention High Stakes Hoops in Adelaide of all places which is so poorly advertised for no one even knows it’s on.

Ha ha, thanks Lee, I will say that’s its good seeing guys like Wang Shipeng play because they have the the passion and absolutely bleed for their game and their country.
