'Love to be involved': Larkham reacts to links to Wallabies return as Eddie replacement

McKellar’s stacked Leicester team got beaten by Australian coached Harlequins last week. Harlequins coached by Billy Millard

'Love to be involved': Larkham reacts to links to Wallabies return as Eddie replacement

Really average comment. Curry reported what he thought was a racial slur, something every player would do in today’s world. In all probability it’s a misunderstanding, and that’s the finding. Both players have kept their dignity and said nothing more…… if only supporters from both sides could do the same

England react with fury as Bok cleared by World Rugby after TWO racism allegations made by Tom Curry

yep fair enuff, I’ll defer to to his clubs opinion…….oh and spelling always my problem

One year out, who will play for the Wallabies at the World Cup?

Chaz, I was only kidding on us beating England in the final…….I fully expect it to be the AB’s we beat!!!

Ash, you may be right, I live in hope though with Pockock, I just think he gives a better balance as I explained. Obviously failing his return hooper is the man, and they have to work with him, or around him to find the correct balance.

Ruckin, not sure you got where I was coming from. If you look up mecurial it means “volatile, fickle, flighty, eratic”……and in the context I was using it in, I was describing the 10’s we seem to have gone for over the past couple of seasons. Horan, Carter and Larkham are up there with the best I have seen in their positions (Horan certainly), but they are there because their ability to do the basics were better than anyone else, not because they can throw a behind the back flick pass 30 metres.

Yeh Celtic, agree Horwill and Carter in a head to head battle to partner Simmons. Not too much else to read into it really, just a shame Godwin and Jones didn’t get a chance at least off the bench, as baring injuries we won’t see them on tour.

Matt Hodgson to captain Wallabies against the Barbarians

Thanks WiU……nope not the actor……only thing I would say about your lineup is that it lacks lineout options. Palu, Pockock, Hooper and Skelton are not really front line jumpers, leaving only Simmons as an option. Also dangerous having Cooper and Beale at 10 and 12…..I know where I’d send my attack.

All pertinent questions Crazy Horse, but thrashing this out sure beats talking and reading about the stuff we have for the past 2 weeks

Yeh not a bad side Combesy, I just think its a big call saying Hunt will crack it with one year of Rugby under his belt after a long stint in AFL. Whilst he was a very good League player, he was no Isreal Folou. As for O’Connor, I do think he slide back back into the setup, he is a great player, but back 3 for mine. At 12 he will see a lot of Sonny-Bill, Tuilagi and the like, and I just think he’s equipped to handle that. Whilst my selection of Godwin is also a bit of a leap of faith, he has been a stand out in most super 15 games I’ve seen him play….although must admit I havn’t seen any of the NRC

Hodges and Baldy, agree its tough to leave AAC out of the starting lineup, but a back 3 of him Speight and Folou leaves us with no recognised out of hand kicker back there…….his experience could be used off the bench.
