Broncos forever...

This idiot shipped off Nikorima to play Tom Deardud…who was another passenger along with Glenn, Boyd and Milford. No surprises there why Brisbane fell of a cliff and got handed it’s first spoon.
0-58 record breaking defeat at the hands of the Eels after limping into the finals was his crowning achievement, i will give him that.

Ponga is back, with the emergence of Clifford and Knights are climbing up the ladder again. Nothing whatsoever to do with this quack.

Deep breath, Broncos fans: Anthony Seibold is, at the very least, a decent assistant coach

You are a funny man jimmmy 😂

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 6

Croft may not be the answer but he has not been given the stretch of games he deserves to show his wares after the Seibold debacle. Starting the year he looked solid – nothing flash but no handling errors, a high tackle completion rate and does the 1 percenters.
They were competitive and lost by respectable scores in the first 2 matches and had an emphatic win against the Dogs with Brodie at 7. Now why would Kevin suddenly just split up the winning halves?!

Don’t get the hype around this Dearden kid, he should be in ISC learning the ropes and then eased into 1st grade.
The rumours of Dearden not getting game time before rnd 6 (or signing for the Cows) look all but confirmed cause he is definitely not ready for this level yet.
If Kevvie is being forced to play him because of a contract situation then he has no business coaching the Broncos. Kids and managers don’t ransom this club, its been the other way around for eons.

The Broncos must make radical changes, starting with Milford

Liking these for upsets: Warriors, Dogs
Titans and Dragons can if they are good enough for 50+mins
No hopers: Cows and Broncs
Sure things: Knights and Roosters

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 14

With DH for this round, 100% 👍
Roo – will be a tough slog, but Keary and Lam should be more stable than Hunt and Clune
Sea – conflicted on this one, liking the form of the Warriors
Rab – will tip my mob when they start winning
Sto – Dogs will be gritty but will fall short again
Kni – Liking Greens inclusion, feels like Pearce and Ponga hitting a flat spot so will be rejuvaneted agains the no name Tiges
Pan – Raiders could be up for this one but the purple patch form of Cleary and co to continue
Cow – 50/50 match up as both sides have been ultra competitive past weeks
Eels – Another flip of the coin, Moses goal kicking to be the difference though

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 13

He is the problem.

They should take a leaf out of Parra and Penrith roster management. Remove the declining experienced plodders and stick solid with the youngsters.
Doesnt help also when current coach breaks the confidence of this young group by rewarding those mediocre seniors with walk up starts while chopping and changing the rest of them on a weekly.

Veteran Darius Boyd is the answer to Brisbane's troubles

Warriors, Titans, Bulldogs are looking competitive – doubt there will be 20+ thrashings in their respective matches.
Can’t say the same for NQ and Newie.
Liking the chances of the Dragons and the Sea Eagles. Lock in Broncos with talisman Turpin to get the W.

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 12

Knights and Rabbits is the only match to get the heart racing…the rest are meh

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 10

Yeah you got me.
Despite the pleas of my fellow Bronco roarers telling me that my team is gonna turn it around, I have written them off since last season.
With Bennett, I’d tip them without batting an eyelid against anyone but this past 2 years, they just look so lost out there 👎

The Broncos have slumped to a 15-year low after six losses in a row

“If Bennett is dropping off the pace in defence, it’s likely he isn’t coaching his players, like some other ‘successful’ coaches, to defend from offside positions and count on the refs keeping their whistle in their pocket.”

Nailed it, mate

The Broncos have slumped to a 15-year low after six losses in a row

How come your score is not on the main tipping leader board? Maybe Roar editors should rank you where you actually are, compared to the leaders. 👎

The Roar’s NRL expert tips and predictions: Round 7

62.5% win record, 2nd best to the Storm and have never received the spoon ever…from one of the most successful clubs in the history of rugby league, has now become the laughing stock of the NRL.

The season win-loss average has dramatically dropped once the tip-top coach came on board. Biggest ever defeats in the space of 4 games and now precauriously perched on 14th.

White and his board royally messed this up over the ugly coach swap in 2018/19. They will not sack anyone no matter how many games they lose or how demoralising the losses are – they are too stubborn to backtrack on their mistake.
In terms of hope for continued premiership success, maybe the first ever spoon is not such a bad thing for my beloved team.

A rant from a Brisbane Broncos fan

Exactly, Slater and Tedesco are 2 or 3 rungs below DL.

How the one dimensional centre of Canberra got the award before the Bronco great was an epic eff up 😡

Five reasons why Tedesco will eclipse Slater and Lockyer

Speed, support play and anticipation, yep ok right up there and the best at the moment but lacking vision, kicking and ball playing ability.

Unless Tedesco picks up these skills overnight and sustains it for the next decade…I don’t see how you can compare him to Lockyer.

Five reasons why Tedesco will eclipse Slater and Lockyer

Why Brisbane, why???!!

Could have locked up this kid a long time ago 😢 😢

Biggest signing since Joey? Knights extend Kalyn Ponga on massive deal

Whoever was in charge of the artificial crowd noise should be sacked. There was was nothing to cheer about, so out of touch – replace em with someone who can liven the experience with booing, heckling of choice words, etc.

Last nights fragile effort from my mob deserved that the full 80mn. 👎 👎

How much pressure is Anthony Seibold under?

Put a line through the Broncos, they will not win more than 2-3 games before round 10.

Pity Croft coming into a side fielding only 15 players, the other two has beens are being carried by the youngsters and the new coach is either ignorant or just loves to hear himself sprout new age intellectual jargon that has no bearing on winning football games.

One of the Warriors, Dragons, Broncos or Sharks coaches to be let go after horror starts.

Storm or Rabbits for the 2020 title.

Predicting the 2020 NRL Premier before the season even starts

Bad press really affects a players standing in the rankings and public perception.

A few in the game can perform what Latrell does on the field yet, one person say he’s ‘lazy’ and suddenly that’s gospel.

The Roar's NRL top 50 players: 20-11

Does the Australian Communications and Media Authority cover print media as well??

Yet another article of this tripe and they should censure some of this bigoted journalists!

Roosters should derail plans to face Folau

So no tipping for the Super Rugby?

Surely if the AFL and NRL can have theirs, why can’t theroar can afford this little luxury for the SR fans.

Why Tom Robertson loves playing the Crusaders

Fantastic news!

Now Izzy can turn out for the Tongans make the matches more competitive in the internationals against the Aussies and Kiwis .

Welcome back to real rugby Israel Folau 🏉

Israel Folau and the governing bodies who are powerless to govern

I don’t know about you guys but striking out against the law is a no-no unless you a not right in the head.
Guy has form, wasn’t he the one who almost blinded Manly’s Walker a few seasons ago.

Send him to gaol where they have boxing matches every day, he can see where he ranks being a street fighter.

Curtis Scott charged with assaulting a police officer

Were the Storm wearing the refs jersey all along or is it the other way around? Cam Smith must have been on standby in case Sutton pulled a hammy mid match.

The Fox commentary was diabolical, all spewing the same premeditated hog wash for 60mns about Tonga not ‘having a half back’ and ‘how world class’ the champs were. One eyed cheer boy, that Anasta guy is – get him off the air in 2020, his getting worse every call.

Tonga too good for Kangaroos in massive boilover

A little professionalism in the islander ranks and their sporting competitiveness has risen.

Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, Fiji and PNG no doubt have the physicality, but once they get on par with Australia RE the above – what happened yesterday won’t be regarded as a one-off anymore.

Tonga too good for Kangaroos in massive boilover

Wait this year out, play Dearden and Milf in the halves.

Last year for Milford to shine, downgrade his salary or go to the Tiges, by then Bird would have jacked off already – leaving space in the cap to lure Keary home 2021.

The Broncos need experience, and Blake Green could be the answer
