Had the same thought – recently did the stats on Rashid Khan and every other Adelaide Strikers death overs hitter since he joined that team for another website and he’s clearly the best option.
It's time for the Strikers to gamble on Rashid Khan's batting
There is something to that, Paul. I remember thinking when our beloved Lions won their first game of the season that it was excellent foresight to allow a lot of access for what was a rare chance on FTA around the country. Probably couldn’t replicate that level of access, but I’d say your idea has merit.
State of the game? It's the state of the football media that's the problem
Ah right. One of their better nicknames, I suppose.

I’m confused. Why are Channel Seven commentators calling Patton “The General”?

Hello Sarah. Nice to see another full house at Spotless Stadium.

They cannot kick a goal that is on the goal line, with no one else in sight.
Unbelievable.

Scruff ’em up as much as you want West Coast, but if you could kick as straight as them, you’d be in front.

About bloody time they kicked their second.

This is just pathetic from West Coast.

Well, at least West Coast are winning the 50-metre penalty count.

Sorry about taking it as true. Wasn’t true. The ABC will continue to broadcast cricket.
A team worth getting out of bed for
Thanks Paul. Hopefully the ABC continues to broadcast cricket.
A team worth getting out of bed for
Just read about that. I don’t support that decision either. It ruins good stories such as the resistance of Australia’s unheralded bowlers at the Oval. More importantly, it will reduce access of our great game to those who live in Australia’s rural areas.
A team worth getting out of bed for
Extremely stupid is right. Deserved to be dragged for that. Bloody selfish.

I’m struggling to think of a Brisbane team that has moved the ball as quickly as what they were against the Hawks. Great stuff.
Brisbane's best day of 2018
Fair enough. I don’t pay to watch anything other than local footy but that’s not because of any objections to Rupert Murdoch or the AFL – I just don’t feel strongly enough about the sport to pay to watch it on a screen.
Echo your sentiments about the Blues.
Brisbane's best day of 2018
Congratulations. Wouldn’t recommend going the same way this weekend.
Brisbane's best day of 2018
Ah right. Fair enough. Put it this way, I don’t think Brisbane will win next week. But I do think the time that the following poem references might finally be over:
When they were the Brisbane Bears, they left behind Robert Walls.
As the Brisbane Lions, now they only play behind paywalls.
Teams used to be in the grasp of their paw.
Now, Brisbane pray for a draw.
They won their part of the AFLX,
and everyone said, “Next!”
Many of the players have already gone to their next club,
while many of the fans have gone to the nearest pub.
They provide fodder for the ramblers,
and sure money for the gamblers.
Brisbane's best day of 2018
Hi Paul D, I watched the match as well. Happy to stipulate it’s about far more than Hodge. The Lions are my favorite team, not second. It’s why I mentioned Cameron and Andrews. Also, I’m not from Victoria.

Fair comment. As to your last question, I went through the scorecards for all of the matches he has played since he was banned and created a table. Had problems uploading it to The Roar.
