Hey Billsie,
waddaya call a deer with no eyes?

AFL the anchor on our global sporting success

No Real links to?

Most of that crowd has a real link to Liverpool FC in some way shape or form or they wouldn’t have dressed in a Liverpool uniform and gone to the game.

Its only cringeworthy because you don’t understand a world sport like football fella and you can follow a team from anywhere on the planet, just like GWS.

Liverpool, Victory create genuine football atmosphere at MCG

The Bloc is FULL.
http://au.fourfourtwo.com/news/277550,wswre-gonna-need-a-bigger-stadium.aspx

All WSW home end memberships are sold and they are desperately trying to get 3,500 more temporary seats installed at Parramatta Stadium in time for the start of the season, which is still nearly 3 months away.

I told you fellas to get in early!

You AFL fellas wouldn’t know the truth if it bit you on the ars e man. 🙂 )) ))

“Not sure if writing to the police would actually have any effect, because his club was after all playing the Police Machine, a team made up of Nigerian Police.”

Who would have thought that Nigerian Police are corrupt, man? 🙂 )) ))

Nigerian football goal-fest slightly off target

Chill out fellas.

Thanks fellas and happy to oblige.

According to this website.
http://stats.rleague.com/afl/crowds/summary.html
AFL average attendances per match way down and they are now the lowest since 1996.
Attendances in NSW down 35% and Qld 18%

According to various OZTAM surveys AFL TV ratings this year in Sydney down 27% and Qld down 13%
AFL admitted that they fudge their “AFL Participants” figures to include schoolies, who tried AusKick but have never played a game of AFL. The Bureau of statistics figures put AFL participation growth as largely unchanged in NSW and Qld since 2004.

The AFL have admitted losing large amounts of money setting up Suns and Giants, but won’t release any figures. No wonder really.

A lot of Kangaroos, Bulldogs, Tigers and Demons fans would also like to know how much money they are spending on the new teams as compared to what financial assistance they are getting.

AFL embroiled in drug taking, teenage rape and general abuse claims. The AFL’s 3 strikes policy has no credibility and yet again proven to be a failure.
Players who admit taking drugs are not reprimanded or stood down, they continue to play AFL.

Not a great management success story from where I stand, but hey, I live outside Victoria.

If I was a paid up AFL member, I’d like to know where the $1,400,000,000.00 has gone and how effective the AFL’s policies are. Wouldn’t you, man?

AFL the anchor on our global sporting success

I don’t agree that the AFL’s management is superior. This is a myth from Demetriou and the AFL Media Department.
The high point has been reached and its downhill from here.

Despite a billion dollar plus television deal, the biggest marketing and media department of any sporting code in the world, the AFL is going backwards financially, morally, nationally. They are well on the nose in Sydney man.

If the ARU or NBA or FFA had $1.4 billion to spend on their game, you would see a huge expansion, not contraction man.

AFL is dying – give out more free tickets!

Shows you how far we are still behind Japanese and Thai football.

Moyes's United humbled in Japan

Markie,
everyone in football is on drugs and then has to sell them to make ends meet.

Bombers members owed a refund

What’s to complain about.

Australia had to go through two rounds, 16 qualification matches, each one of them a chance of losing, especially the away games.

Kiwi’s just had to beat New Caledonia and now two legs home and away against Panama.
Every chance to join us in Brazil mate,eh.

Are you coming to Brazil, bro? Assessing the All Whites' World Cup hopes

I hope not.
I don’t expect SBS to get record ratings for an A-League game, but a good percentage and reasonable advertising dollars to cover their expenses.

I’m happy to see SBS and Foxtel keep doing the business and would hate to see one of the commercial stations take over and let it die off.

Manchester United big winners both on and off the field in Australia

Fuss
the whole thing has been an outstanding success and the FFA have agreed to split the profits with all A-League clubs whether they had players in the All-Stars or not and each club can expect between 500K and 1M payout.

The NSW govt also made a handy profit from the influx of visitors and other fees, charges and taxes, so Events NSW and the FFA are already starting to negotiate with other big European clubs like Barcelona, Arsenal, AC Milan etc. for next year.

United thrash A-League All-Stars

I’m employed by the FFA and I get a $100 Westfields voucher for every post.

Manchester United big winners both on and off the field in Australia

The game sold out in 15 minutes and they weren’t paying 100 bucks to see Mooy.

The Scum were expected to win and the A-League team only trained together for a couple of hours and didn’t even want to play with each other.

You couldn’t have expected anything else and this will do no damage to the A-League and true A-League supporters.

80k of those football “fans” have probably never seen an A-League game and were expecting them to get flogged.

Bring on the start of the season man.

Manchester United big winners both on and off the field in Australia

I think the Essendon AFL club still has some questions to answer and its not bias Brian.

Bombers members owed a refund

What about a refund when the team plays like crap or the coach takes off the wrong players at the wrong time and your team loses?

Bombers members owed a refund

I don’t think most AFL fans give a stuff about whether players are taking performance enhancing drugs or not, as long as they are all doing it and the restrictions are lifted for all players so its a level playing field.

Bombers members owed a refund

West Coast don’t have much to complain about when it comes to AFL players using and dealing in illegal drugs, do they?

Bombers members owed a refund

The AFL and its media department are very good at circling the wagons when there is a sniff of trouble.
AFL players and administrators can be as bad as they like, because the AFL 3 Strikes policy and their inept discipline and lack of punishment will mean that nothing happens to them.

In any other sport, drug cheats are eliminated from the game.

Can’t you people see how its damaging the integrity and reputation of AFL as a sport?

Bombers members owed a refund

No freakin’ out – 8k of the tickets were free and they were lucky there was a football game at ANZ with 84K spectators who were given free AFL tickets on the same day.

Bombers run over the top of GWS

What a great job man.

Travelling the world with all the teams, all the events, conferences, free tickets to all the major games and best seats.
All expenses paid trip to Brazil and VIP tickets for the draw in December and then the World Cup in July.

Bit better than free tickets to Brookvale to stand on the hill. 

You’d want him to be doing a great job wouldn’t you.

Do Socceroos fans have any interest in the East Asian Cup?

Ya, Si, Jawohl, Oui, Yes

Football followers are so multicultural man :))).

Do Socceroos fans have any interest in the East Asian Cup?

You are absolutely right Stavros, the International Rules team are Australia’s most favourite and most watched international team and outside of Collins Street, AFL is experiencing phenomenal growth in Sydney with the Giants. :))))))))

Keep saying it till you believe it man!

Do Socceroos fans have any interest in the East Asian Cup?

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1160280/Gallop-says-Socceroos-are-Australia’s-favourite-team

No offence to those before him, but Gallop is doing a great job lifting the profile of our game and were up for an even bigger season in 82 days, 7 hours, 13 minutes and 42 seconds.
