Showed up expecting 2 points, just about every time a teams will end up with their pants pulled down in those circumstances…

Api days are here again as hooker rises from sick bed to inspire Benji's Tigers to Sharks boilover

No ones building a trophy cabinet yet anyway, it’s round 2… but their own form is the real sense check and they look much better.
Dogs were good yesterday and your form check on warriors – pardon me I had to laugh at that 😂
Like really, sounds like you didn’t watch either game

'It didn't look great': Ciraldo rages at ref after Nikora escapes send-off on wild night in Cronulla

Agree.
The attack will take care of itself, the attacking form is all muscle memory.
It was good enough last night, when in the red zone.

Defence was what needed the off season focus, pleasing start.

RTS shut down as Cronulla hold out for heroic win - is this the end of their flat track bullies tag?

Like Fitzy said, one of the prouder wins for him… funnily enough the other one during his time is also against the warriors when the sharks won while playing with 12 men for 70 mins.

Last night, defending for 30 mins before finally getting a chance in the attacking red zone, while the warriors had 85% of the ball in the first 20… set after set on the line.

Resilience and defensive grit – lot of heart in that effort, something to build on for rest of the year!

No we don’t

'Dream ball': Brilliant Cummins leads from the front but rival skipper wilts under pressure as Aussies take upper hand

lol you are kidding… zero credibility here.

Trying to deny the undeniable.

Had we lost last night, you’d be saying it’s all Cummins fault… which says everything about your comment above.

CHAMPIONS! Head's heroic ton, bowling brilliance sees Aussies crush India for SIXTH - and best - World Cup win

Best ODI side in history?!

2002-2007 Aussies

At least hogging the last 6 overs of that group game so he could get his 100, got him something… 😂

CHAMPIONS! Head's heroic ton, bowling brilliance sees Aussies crush India for SIXTH - and best - World Cup win

I’ve seen us win 5 world cups (too young for 87) and it is sweet every time but this one has a feeling like 99 for me – completely written off by many after a poor start, have ended up winning the final in dominant and convincing fashion as the heavy underdog. Too smash India in India as well, so good!

We beat every single team in the tournament on the way to taking it out in the end, never doubt a champion team! 👍

Well done Australia, World Champions again!!

Test and ODI – Kings of Cricket. 👍

It’s disgraceful, the worst is they also influence the pitches in other countries…. “Oh we won’t play at the WACA because it’s too scary”, “please ensure the SCG is a dust bowl for the Indian match” – just like the last WC in Australia.

The fact they are hosting another WC, before SA or WI got a chance too, and then also host the third World Cup from now… is ridiculous.

There’s no way they would win on neutral turf.

India’s petulant pitch switch dirty trick tarnishes march to World Cup trophy

That’s your opinion, you’re entitled to it.

I couldn’t care less if state of origin was stopped tomorrow – it’s certainly not the pinnacle, hasn’t been for 20 years.

Madge-ic: Kiwis 'shock the rugby league world' as Maguire masterclass hands Kangaroos record defeat

State of origin means something…. Never seen the passion in any origin game that I’ve seen on the faces of the kiwis, Fijians, Samoans, English, Papuans and Tongans this past month

Madge-ic: Kiwis 'shock the rugby league world' as Maguire masterclass hands Kangaroos record defeat

I had the Kiwis as favourites going into the tournament, the games over the next two weeks will be must see!

So were all the Ireland tries this morning scored by Kiwis?
I’d listen if you weren’t just as ignorant about the RL World Cup… as I said, argument works both ways and you’re proving my point

Oh ok, so they all play in their own local leagues? Didn’t know that, I haven’t watched any of the games so can’t really refute what you’re saying

Similar to the 20 teams of kiwis running around in the other tournament at the moment…. Parading in a jersey while being beaten by 70-90 points

This is a backward step.

Trimming to 10 was backwards, but then giving the quarter finalists a guaranteed spot is unfathomable – completely diminishes the qualifying process.

Should have just been the semi finalists that were guaranteed given reduction but really, there was no reason to reduce from 16…the WC in England last year was the most successful one the game has had.

No, you’re correct but clearly missing the point.
The point is, James Tedesco is the best choice… you think he wouldn’t look a 100x times better doing what he does in a Penrith side.

Kangaroos squad: Cleary injured, Meninga backs Tedesco after snubbing in-form trio as Latrell 'comeback' surprises

How many standout performances has he had at state and international level?

Before you come back and say his never had a chance… there’s a reason for that – his name is James Tedesco.

Kangaroos squad: Cleary injured, Meninga backs Tedesco after snubbing in-form trio as Latrell 'comeback' surprises

You’re not in the minority TB, not a chance that I would pick Walsh or Ponga ahead of Teddy.

The most obvious replacement in terms of like for like would be Edwards but his not in Teddy territory just yet.

To be fair to that statement, the Roosters and Storm have played in 15 of the 20 deciders between 2001 – 2020…. Since then Penrith have played in everyone.

And this year the 3 of them ended up on the same side of the draw, of course at some point their dominance would end but given no side outside of those 3 have won a premiership since 2016 – it’s impossible to be wrong by making a statement that at some point the tide will turn.
