absolute tosh. This season, the mainstream media coverage of non-negative stories has reached an absolute low. The Australian newspaper refuses to acknowledge the game. Just last sunday evening when Brisbane had just qualified for their second consecutive a-league final, it didn't get a mention on the ABC sports wrap. Disgraceful

There has never been articles published falsely rubbishing a sport and the behaviour of its fans like the article in the melbourne newspaper 'Soccer Fans The Worst'. Or the media gee up about the Australia v Serbia game. which actually had one of the smaller arrest ratios than most other sports.

What is the Australian media’s problem with football?
"there is no money is football" quite possibly the stupidest comment of the day. "Becuase it is boring" Yeah the whole world is bar a few countries are infatuated with a sport that is inherrently boring. Good points all round Mick
