I still reckon Lynn will get his chance at some stage, fingers crossed as he is brilliant to watch. My god can he hit a ball!
The still-smouldering Joe Burns question
Hey Muzz did you catch the game?
Enjoy the next few years mate, your purple patch is over!
PRENTICE: Roosters should have stuck with super-kid Hastings
As a QLD fan I love it when Mitchell plays at Suncorp, it often ends up with him crying.
It is going to be an absolute cracker. Locky mentioned this on Monday but I think Jack Reed could play a crucial role on Friday night, in the last game they played the Roosters scored both their tries down their right hand side. Reed was missing that night and you could tell Kahu was out of depth in defence when those plays were on. Reed will shut those ones down for the Broncs this time.
There is attack and power all over the park for both sides.
Let’s hope it’s one for the ages. If you need me I’ll be at Suncorp with 50000 other QLD’ers!
PRENTICE: Roosters should have stuck with super-kid Hastings
The 2014 blues reminded me of the QLD teams that managed to snag a series here and there in the 90’s it wasn’t pretty but they just wanted it more than their more skillful opponents. It’s tough to repeat that level of intensity though and now the maroons have fire in the belly again. Could be a maroon wash this year i reckon.
My predictions for the NRL in 2015
Don’t you mean the future is far brighter now you’re not captain? If Henry has half a clue he will put the broom through the place and start again.
Future bright under Henry, says Bird
For a guy who in first class cricket averaged 47 in 13/14 and over 50 in 14/15, i was surprised at the so called ‘shock’ selection. Burns, Bancroft and Smith will be very important for this team in the years to come. Hopefully the Shaun Marsh experiment is well and truly dead and buried!
