sidds can go again but patto must come in for harris, who looks burnt out.

Australian selection quandary before Cape Town decider

yes we have been riding on mitch”s coatails all summer.
but considering our prior form who could blame us?
let hope he and sa both fire, and we can have a test match for the ages

If Mitch doesn't fire, Australia doesn't win

i think patto should replace harris not siddle. Ryno stats this tour are woeful 3 wickets at 75 with a strike rate of 150
Also watto for marsh or doolan

Australia mutate from frightening to frightful within a week

Great first day from the aussies, their batters will gain confidence against the SA attack.
Once you see off the first spell they dont have a lot left.
We realy need to make steyn and morkell bowl a lot of overs.
Great from Smithy

Australia takes the opening round at Centurion

Wow great stats, shows why they are number one!
I do feel this series will be tight, maybe SA will sneek home 2-1
The first test will set the tone, how the aussies come out of the gates will determine their sucess.
I feel Mitch’s intensity has dropped off lately, anyway our batting is clearly second best, but we always play well in the republic.

Proteas will be ready for invading Aussies

Taps should be a shoe in i recon.
lucky we have depth in the backs at least
go the W’s

Centre ban rubs salt in Wallaby wounds as Betham gets SOS

looks a good problem to be in with warner, bailey and khawaja all in hot white ball form coming into the sheild.
Uzzie and Dave will crucially get two games against the red ball, Bailey only one.
Three players , two spots.

Khawaja's Ryobi Cup ton shows he should play in Ashes

nice to here from an argie passionate about rugby!
Your team has some real firepower, but lacks ‘smarts’ in certain areas, like decision making.
For example in perth, instead of opting for scrum after scrum, what about kicking the three points.
Surely this would of given you a win. Any top 5 nation in that same situation would have taken the points on offer.
just my opinion

The future of Los Pumas at a crossroads

whilst i rate MT highly, i believe the QC has raised his game and ATM i think QC has his nose in front

Success comes with patience... and Matt Toomua

right now i do not care about our ‘style of play’
what we want to see is the wallabies giving it a good hard go!
thats all, the results will take care of themselves.
Last season when Deans had all those injuries, he cleverly devised a structure of play that suited the talent he had available.
And it worked, it was not pretty, but we eaked out wins.
It seam link has grossly overestimated the talent available.
Dumb it down, concentrate on the basics and get the wins

Is it fair to compare Deans and McKenzie?

is it just me or does khawaja seem to play cricket as if he is disinterested?
just does not have an hunger. If we could merge hughes and khawaja now theirs a player

Australia an average side that needs time

great to see foley getting a chance
mt as well, happy times ahead for the wallabies

Foley eyes Wallabies debut v All Blacks

what about bringing in Bailey?
he has a good temperament and technique?
Katich back as well
what about blooding some youngsters

ASHES: Talking points from Lord's, after Australia fail again

patto has been disapointing?
please god of cricket can we make 500 just once?

ASHES: Talking points from Lord's Day 1

is the poms loose anderson, they are screwed!!!

Eleven things we learnt from the first Test

this is a joke yeh?

We must stick steady with steady Eddy

agreed khwaja in for cowan and bird in for starc
i like hughes at first drop, then khwaja , pup.

though seriously if you take out the runs from the 9th wicket, we we flogged.

we MUST improve our batting

LAWSON: Tough one Australia, but better required at Lord's

mitch never had that ‘swagger’.
this kid plays a simple game and plays it perfectly.
that may be the single most important innings this year.
kudos to hughes, he can really tough it out

Adam Scott lookalike Ashton Agar shows same champion qualities

interestingly i dont think KB or JOC will ever be good wallaby 10’s.
It is simple, growing up at school the teams attack was to simply give the ball to KB or JOC and they would by themselves beat the opositions defence. It seems that are still trying to do the same thing in international rugby. with limited sucess.
IMO both need to develop a passing game, QC is so far ahead in this department its not funny

The three amigos must shape up or ship out under McKenzie

Cadel to greenedge orica?
good or bad?
IS HE FINISHED

Deja vu at the Tour de France as BMC collapses again

will be good to see quade get another go, but please dont forget MT, i think he has a bright future.
CL did not impress me in attack

McKenzie boosts Cooper's hopes

Well done Robbie, you did you best and thats all anyone can ask.
Can we keep you in OZ for say junior walliabies coach or national development manager?
I think you strength lies in identifying and developing young talent.
Link has a pretty good squad to take over, thanks to you.

OFFICIAL: Robbie Deans 'stepping down' from Wallabies

sorry dont agree that we lack talent.
We have a talented group of players how can take it to any team in the world.
The issue with deans is he does not get the best out of our players consistantly.
Also he does not select the best players in every position
ei. JOC at 10, Alexander at prop?

A flashing knife in the winter sun

i thought BOD did a pretty decent job of obstructing wallibies in the first two tests.
Tell you what , the irish at work are now not even going to watch the game, now BOD has be dropped

Gatland’s decision to axe O’Driscoll defies belief

where is g smith, I thought he was good to go?
