Yeah very true mate, I didn’t see riders on different tyre manufactures having that much of an advantage anyway really, especially because like you say, different bikes, different chassis I think it even help others be competitive and level the playing field, you have to wonder if the Ducati would benefit from another manufacture.
Declining MotoGP must change to suit riders
Yeh it’s a shame to see good riders heading to the Motogp class too quickly, usually it restricts them to either a satellite (if they’re lucky like Smith for example) or a crt ride which I think even the likes of Marquez would find difficult to compete with the top riders with, I think Andrea Iannone would have been a big contender for the championship had he remained in Moto2 this year.

Yeah that’s true, I think even in the latter stages of this season we may see him on the podium at least a few times by seasons end. I hope he does have a better year next year, but I think it will be hard for most riders to contend with Marquez after his rookie year this year!

Ha ha, yep! even more annoying that Bautista didn’t take any blame when he clearly went out wide in Mugello and then tried to get back onto the racing line which by that time Rossi had taken.
Yeah, I’d have to agree with you on that, I don’t think he will ever be able to challenge for the Championship again but I do think he can still win GP races.

Sad news! Still don’t think they should have been racing in those conditions. Therefore I don’t know if I can fully agree with “freak” accident labelled by many.
