I agree, it was a huge statement from United entering a new era
Disappointing that he wasn’t up to it

absolutely agree but the fact that Fergie got another championship out of that squad shows just how good he was as manager. also think that it would have taken a special manager to thrive after Ferguson left, Moyes was instrumental at Everton
A foreigner's curse: Why Di Maria was never meant to wear a Manchester United shirt
Was saying that legends of United are predominately from the UK and when a foreigner becomes a legend of the club they are something special. I think certainly South Americans struggle more in the Premier League then Europeans do that is a good point.

I agree Sinclair is another one hopefully manages to get off the rookie list next year, unlucky this season but Schneider I think was the right rookie to elevate, and liked the look of Newnes against the Dogs.
I’m not a Saints supporter so looks like I’ve missed a couple! Thanks for letting me know 🙂
The St Kilda Saints will be marching again soon
Cameron Ling was a great leader and captain on the field, I didn’t say he should be the coach straight away but should get some experience as an assistant first.
Who should replace Mick Malthouse as Carlton coach?
How about a Mark Thompson (coach) /Cameron Ling (assistant) combo for a few years before Ling takes over in the long run, unlikely to happen any time soon but would love to see it
Who should replace Mick Malthouse as Carlton coach?
very well said mate, thanks for the input completely agree 🙂
Carlton President just released a message to the members, looks like Mick is gone during the bye week
The once mighty Blue Boys need a rebuild in management
Thanks a lot for your comment with this being my first article, appreciate it 🙂
I just think Carlton should have looked at their tall options up forward before letting Waite go, definitely was too unreliable though

Appreciate the comment on my first article, cheers 🙂
Agree with what you’re saying completely, especially about the specialist coaches. Why was Sav Rocca brought in to fix Casboult’s goal kicking ability in April this year when it has clearly been an option for a couple years now?
Big changes needed soon
The once mighty Blue Boys need a rebuild in management
great article, completely agree
ageing footballers need to think of their futures and family
Believe it or not, there is a life after footy
I did not dispute that fact, I was simply exploring those that have done well and others that did not
