Well said Joey. Kersi, best not write about something you clearly know nothing about. May I suggest some research material for you? It outlines the whole saga. Note how many times CA have attempted to broker individual contracts, dealing with players directly rather than the players’ nominated representative, against the players continued wishes. I can count at least 4 instances where the hardline and arrogant CA has done thus over past 6 months. This should be called into question. Not pointless and irrelevant bank analogies and talk of 25% charitable hand-outs.

You’ve missed the point entirely, Harvey. The players want to sustain the current revenue sharing model – which is essentially – a model that distributes all cricket revenue to all levels of domestic first class cricket. Meaning fringe first class cricketers are paid a decent wage. If anything, the likes of Warner and Starc are likely to earn less money by keeping the current model — the very model the players are fighting for.
