The major football teams like Chelsea are opening up "Chelsea" shops in casinos and premium malls - selling an extended line of premium products. Ferrari has just opened a theme park in Dubai. Porsche cameras, pens, shoes, sunglasses. To increase the intellectual capital of the brand you need to move the brand past its core demographic. This seems to be the tone of this article. Some commentators are saying that this devalues the mystic of the brand - but in reality it is embracing commercialism which is the objective of all sports nowdays. Taking a sports team into commercialism is an evolution - just like taking it from amateur to professional. Coaches around the globe have taken note and the video are being compiled. Defensive coaches will be a lot more wary of the Australian back line next year....so can we expect the back line to be less effective in 2011? Does Deans need to have a Plan B if this happens?

Is it France or Australia? Breathtaking one week, pitiful the next. Players are heroes, then villains... the next game. The Wallabies are the bipolar team of the year. The backline is paying high dividends, the rest is a mess.
