I was surprised just how well Thon played. He was everywhere and like you said just seemed to inject energy into the side when he came on.
I think the big difference in this game was coaching. Kidd just pulled the right levers at the right times. I was pretty impressed with what Munroe did also when he came on. But Giannis…. my God Giannis

But like has been mentioned, it is insane that so many great players are putting up great seasons. It’s great to be able to watch a regular season game and see great things happen almost every night.

I wouldn’t just completely trash what Daniel has written. I think what was written was very thoughtful and suggested that there is promise there for these guys (but like most trades nothing is guaranteed)
Like you said cousins has been disengaged in the past, but when he is locked in he can wreak havoc (see the kings victory over GSW). Yes Davis regressed, but he has been playing so much 5 this year (as opposed to 4 he prefers to play) it was bound to show up somewhere from the beatings he takes.
Low end playoff team they may be, but I think given the rest of the year, a full offseason together and a possible free agent signing or 2 then they could become a force.
Do I trust the pelicans management to get that right? Couple of days ago I would of thought hell no, but after this trade you just never know.
Worst case scenario is that it doesn’t work out and they trade him somewhere else. Granted you probably wouldn’t get much for him (particularly if he keeps acting like a tool) but they didn’t sell the farm either, so they don’t really lose out.
