Bringing Parkin back for a second stint in 1991 was one of the best decisions ever made by a footy club. Maybe the club needs to swallow their pride and do the same with Brett Ratten.
Since the Parkin era, the Blues have lost 68% of their games when not coached by Brett Ratten.
Ratten got the Blues to 7th, 8th and 5th, and his winning record of 50% is second only to Parkin (63%).
And it’s not getting any better – since Malthouse was dropped in round 8 of 2015, Carlton have lost almost 3 out of 4 games played! (73%)
