Here’s what I don’t understand. It’s a game between two undefeated teams – both from Sydney/NSW which may well determine who eventually tops the table. It features quality rugby with the best exciting young talent mixing it with the professionals – on a weekend where no other rugby is on in Sydney.
This is the opportunity to sell the NRC to the Sydney Rugby public. Why isn’t the game being promoted more in Sydney by the NRC /ARU? And why isn’t Foxtel doing more to promote the game? Don’t they want to build some excitement and build their ratings? Why is the top of the table clash only available on digital? Why can’t Foxtel replay the game on their sport channel?
I just don’t get it…..

Hey Nicolas. Really enjoy the in depth analysi each week. Thank you. What’s your opinion of Michael Wells? He doesnt have a high profile but is an effective defender, efficient third option in the lineout, very mobile, good ball skills as evidenced by his bullet pass at speed in the try last weekend and he has played the full 80 minutes in every game except the last where he went off injured?
