It\'s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog that counts!

One word to describe The Masters would be tradition. After the heroics there last year, can a new tradition be formed? Here's a look…

Having just moved to the USA I am going through a sporting renaissance of sorts, a chance to view sports which are completely new…
I went to Joeys so I will obviously be called biased and have Kurtley’s name thrown up but what TSC have done to the GPS is incredibly sad.
Good schools will always attract good talent. Shore have attracted good rowers. Riverview, athletes and Joeys, rugby players. TKS a bit of everything. TSC on the other hand have a FREKKKIN HYPOBARIC CHAMBER to allow their students (read athletes) recover better. Now I don’t know where the line is but this is clearly across it
No need to look at your watch at 3:15pm every Saturday afternoon. RIP GPS Footy. Let’s hope it goes onto something else, without TSC
SPIRO: GPS rugby has to merge into a Sydney-wide tournament
If you want to look at the field, the average seed of Federer’s final opponents when he won his 17 slams was 10th. Nadals average over his 13 is 5th. Federer cannot, much like Sampras lay claim to the GOAT when he hasn’t beaten the best on all surfaces when it counts (Grand Slams), especially when he was beaten much lesser players in a weak era of tennis.
Also Nadal is only 27, providing his knees stay good he will clearly surpass Federer’s haul.
I just dont think you can say Federer is clearly No.1 when all the stats say otherwise. Just my two cents!
Who is the greatest, Roger or Rafa?
I don’t understand the logic of the Federer is better because he plays “beautiful, traditional style of tennis that is easy on the body and great for the tennis purists”.
Therefore he “He is the greatest player to have ever played the sport”
Nadal is the superior head to head and the mere fact that Nadal has beaten Federer on all three surfaces compared to Roger who has never been able to do it in the dust belies his supremacy
Nadal is the greatest because he is better than the previous greatest player.
1. Rafa
2. Roger
3. Rocket Rod
4. Pistol Pete
Who is the greatest, Roger or Rafa?
Agree 100%.
Put simply, this group of commentators are terrible for the same reason they were great players. Huge ego’s and self confidence.
More talk about field placings / tactics / player backgrounds / historical tidbits and others points of interest. Less buffoonery.
Long live the ABC
Channel Nine's Test commentary should be declared a dead ball
