Hawthorn will face Adelaide in a preliminary final at the MCG this weekend, but will it be a one-sided affair? This weekend's Hawthorn and…
I am, but I wasn’t talking about Victory being disappointing, the off-field dramas took the attention away from the football itself when isnt that what we should be focusing on?
Time to redefine the A-League in world football
Both Sides match up well in all areas of the park, will be interesting to see how Sydney cope with Hawthorn’s forwards
Swans dominant, Hawks lucky to scrape through
Completety correct, Sydney have so many players contributing in the midfield, thats what makes them such a powerful team to play against. you cant stop all of them
Swans dominant, Hawks lucky to scrape through
Shaw is capable, he is a great player but his disposal effiecency against collingwood was terrible, if only his kicking was as good as his intesity and ability to win the ball. he could be the key for sydneys defence in supporting richards
Swans dominant, Hawks lucky to scrape through
I agree completely, the defences for both sides are both very strong and its a matter of stopping rioli and franklin for the swans, but are sydney capable of stopping them?
Swans dominant, Hawks lucky to scrape through
but why is that? can they not find the money to keep these players? i think it is the celebrity lure that comes with manchester city and real madrid
Is money the solution for Arsenal?
big clubs get big players and keep them. look at messi at barca, rooney at united, even cassilas at madrid. arsenal cant keep their big players and every time one leaves it sets them back a year or two int he development of the club. fabregas was a huge loss, nasri they could deal with but was a pivotal play maker for them and to lose RvP as well was devastating. how can a club expect to build a premier league/uefa champions league winning side when their best players leave every year? they have to work out how to keep these players not just bring them to the club.
Is money the solution for Arsenal?
Yes he would be a popular big name signing but wasnt kewell? these big name signings dont work in the A-league. what the a-league needs are more aussies, arent they always the ones that do the best in the a-league? look at kruse and thompson from vitroy they have/are playing well almost every game.
What are the Newcastle Jets thinking with Emile Heskey?
Yes I still would have seen it as a disappointing season, not for Victory obviously but for a team to be taken out of our league (almost 2 teams) that’s not a good season in my mind.
