C’mon Peter, we both know that you’re basing this solely off one dropped ball on with extreme pressure. DHP is Australia’s second best under the high ball, with Folau obviously being the first

I agree Folau is more creative, better at offloading and a better carrier. But i disagree that DHP is a worse defender.
Sure DHP doesn’t make massive hits like Folau but he still make great tackles, take the try saver against Cuthbert vs. Wales last year.
To your point that he misses so many cover tackles, I can only think of one, vs. Laumape on Saturday

Really? A clear shoulder charge? Maybe you should go and re-watch the game and see that he didn’t lead with his shoulder and that the Canes player dropped into him, it wasn’t malicious and it 100% wasn’t Carmichael’s fault. Should of been a red card? now thats laughable buddy

Force stuck with the pick and go for far too long, it became apparent they weren’t going to break the Canes line like that and they failed to switch it up. Ruru overplayed his hand, should’ve just focused on delivering clean ball. Force failed to change what wasn’t working, tried the same thing over and over again.

Completely different
Folau was infront of the man and he actually has to hold his line after Habana made that kick. In support and behind the play DHP can change his line and do what he wants.

I couldn’t agree more Fionn.
For me, Folau has developed a habit of not giving the ball to his outside men a little too much and instead trying to step back in, resulting in the opportunity being lost.
DHP made very solid runs, but for me the best thing was even after making these runs he was able to get is arm free and get an offload off that got another player making metres, and he did this 3 times in the game.
We need start rewarding good form, otherwise I think we will continue to lose game that we should have won
