Everyone that thinks the A-League is fine at the moment has got to be kidding them selves… Ok so im not expecting it to become an EPL even though I dont see why it cant, Im talking about how professional footballers can’t even play a professional game.
You look at the young Aussie Players coming through the ranks in the A-League and how many are ever going to play top Football? NONE!
It’s a very poor standard of the game, you look at the Dutch League and the young players that come through there and have playerd for top European Teams, even the K League has a couple.
Wake up and go watch a real game of football!
A-League will always be a hopeless competition
Your right alan… Barca are up there for the best in the world especially atm they are playing such good football… 4-0 against one of if not the strongest German football team isnt a fluke
Beautiful Barcelona the best team in Europe
Good Point Rellum however as you said about Spain and Turkey… Real Madrid has a lot of Dutch in their team, Barcelona has Messi (Argentina), Henry (French) and Turkey has a lot of Brazilian influence and even Harry Kewell who needs no introduction.
What will the 6+5 rule do to the top European clubs?
Hey Alan,
I’ll tell you what man I watched that game and Manly Defiantly need their star back. Mind you Newcastle was superb on the pitch, especially Mark Taufua and Akuila Uate.
But to be honest I can’t stand Manly so I’m happy they are doing so badly. How about the Roosters man woooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Manly dive continues as Stewart nears his return
Tom and David that was the possession stat at Homebush Stadium the first 20 or so mins into the game. Ok Argentina had a blunder but If u put them in our World Cup Qualifing group they would top it with flying colours… Our team talks them selves up too much and we need to get back to realty because at the end of they day very few countires we are playing have qualified for a world cup or even come close.
Soccerwhos?
Hey great post Alan,
It’s Just a bad game every team has one. Argentina are by far the most powerful side in South America at the moment and up there for the best in the world…
True Tah as Alan said it’s just early days and every coach has a blunder once and a while. Look at Man United losing 4-1 to Liverpool the biggest defeat to the reds at old Trafford in history but no one is giving him crap for it. It’s part of the game mate.
Defence in chaos as Argentina lose their breath in Bolivia
For all you that talk about the rest of Europe I do realise that… I was just using the EPL as an example of course if they want to put a salary cap it would have to be introduced to all codes otherwise the system wouldn’t work
EPL is so predictable, it's time for change
Oh and Adam no Im not
A-League will always be a hopeless competition
