Admiral – Some good points there and I agree that the Force roster is lacking genuine Super Rugby players. Jono Lance was a great purchase for this season, and with his limited game time, he has showed great promise. Unfortunately he is injured.
The Rebels have to be complimented with their recruiting and game plan this season. No superstars but everyone seems to be on the same page, and their consistency is paying dividends.

Todd Blackadder’s contract ends with Crusaders at the end of this season. I have read this week that people are calling for the ARU to throw the kitchen sink at him and appoint him as head coach of the Western Force. Is that a more viable solution than Stuart Lancaster?

I don’t think the Force are doomed. There is a very good core following for Rugby in WA. However, the supporters are fed up with the dismal performances on the field. Remedy the quality of the Rugby on field and you will see spike in crowd numbers and revenue.
Further, WA is going through the worst mining and resources downturn ever. Mining companies who once through cash at the Force have closed their wallets. With a team tracking so poorly on the field, this has made it extremely difficult for struggling mining companies to justify their spending on the Force.

Nothing to suggest by last weeks performance that will can’t win the series. Fine line between winning and losing. Be equal in the scrum, more diligent with discipline and the win will come our way! Look forward to this weekends battle.
