If you know the story of Sir Donald Bradman there is honestly no disputing he is Australia’s best sportsman even factoring in the amount of countries that played cricket. In terms of Cahill I am referring to performances on the world stage and I feel nobody else has performed for Australia quite as well as Timmy has.
Cahill is Australia’s best since Bradman
He’s passionate about the club and doesn’t like to see players leave, not a bad trait to have…
A feel-good story about the Crows: Fall down get up again
100% Disagree. Take that exact incident and push it back 6 weeks and thats at least a fine every day of the week, just because its GF doesn’t mean the MRP should lose its integrity and throw consistency out of the window.
The Cotchin decision was the right decision and we all know it
Eagles just need speed through the middle of the ground, solid spine just need to improve that depth.
One last roll of the dice for the Eagles?
Yeah 100%, Giants need to focus more on two way running in the midfield, way too attacking
Which forward line should the Giants take to the finals?
I think Stevie J deserves one last chance, as we saw in last years Qualifying Final he can be a serious game changer for the Giants
Which forward line should the Giants take to the finals?
I don’t think a straight swap is fair for Adelaide, Mayes and a second rounder could be an option
The Crows must do all they can to re-sign Jake Lever
Scharenberg and first round pick maybe
The Crows must do all they can to re-sign Jake Lever
Just to clarify I would not be paying ridiculous amounts to keep him, I just hope the Crows are able to sell him on a winning culture and sustained success. I reckon he’s around a 500-550k player at the moment.
The Crows must do all they can to re-sign Jake Lever
The Bombers at there best are among the best teams in the comp, just got to sort out their consistency and they will 100% be a September threat
Consistency the key for Bombers' finals fortunes
Lebron was the best player in the finals, the bloke averaged a triple double and just balled out. KD very good but still in the shadow of the king.
Modern day GOATs: This is the greatest ever era for watching sports
If the Swans are your premiership favourites, where do you see the Crows at seasons end?
Nine quick takes from AFL Round 17
Firstly, I was not saying they are “so bad” i’m just saying that Port’s bottom six does not stack up against the likes of Adelaide, Geelong, GWS and Sydney. Also before you get all excited about the Power’s chances let them beat a top eight side.
What can we make of the Power in 2017?
With the draw they have to come, Port should be looking at a top four spot. However, I don’t feel they are a genuine contender as they are yet to beat any of the competitions best sides
What can we make of the Power in 2017?
I can’t recall Matt having many injury problems. He has been a mainstay in the Crows team for the last 2-3 seasons
Matt Crouch is the Crows' unsung hero
Not saying Port is a premiership contender, just think that their performance on the weekend was reminiscent of their form in 2014.
Is the Power finally back on at Port?
I did say that it is still one week at a time for Port, it’s just last week’s performance did very much resemble the Power of old.
Is the Power finally back on at Port?
That Geelong side would beat the current Hawthorn side hands down, coming from an Adelaide supporter
Who is the greatest side of the modern era?
I’m referring to this current Hawthorn squad
Who is the greatest side of the modern era?
Geelong’s depth was very good throughout their period of dominance, i’d very much like to have the likes of Max Rooke and David Wojinski on my bench.
Who is the greatest side of the modern era?
Cheers Dylan!
Personally I would go for Handscomb over Triffitt behind the stumps purely due to that sensational hundred he hit against the Scorchers in BBL04.
