Smith and Warner should be preferred to stay on the T20 train. This is a great chance to reset the Oz test side with a generational character reset. There will be difficulties but “cut the cancer I say”. It’ll work out and we’ll be back.
Paine, GOAT and Cummins will lead the way – big responsibility but they’ll mould future generations to come.
A bit like Alan Border did.

Put Tim Paine in the Order of Australia, but not the Ashes squad

TWAS,
I was under the impression that unless injured he’s required to be selected for train on squads and for games as per contracts and RUPA EBA – only way to not select him is to not pick him for a Super Rugby side as per QC? I’m probably wrong as usual.
This situation really needs to change and be performance based ie. big crowd big money with a base wage established outside of sponsorship. Set percentages to cover costs and wages with allocations to grass roots.
I reckon I could go into RA Headquarters, look at the descriptions on the phone list and ask a few pointed questions as to what people do and have a 30% cull.
Straight out money gain would be directed to controlled grass roots input.
But then again I’m probably dribbling ????

Israel Folau commits to Wallabies with new four-year deal

WILL MILLER: Christchurch showed us we’re close to a win. Now it’s time to deliver

Not all bad Piru, I did the same and I’m getting blasted by the missus. A bit of sunshine tho as its been shown on FTA 72 from 1830 and one of the Foxtel channels live as well.

Force are better off without Rugby Australia

Your tag says it all champ, not! ?

Rebels vs Brumbies: Super Rugby live scores, blog

Mmmmm, low expectations or apathy?

Super Rugby Round 2: Games out the wazoo!

Gee TWAS, it’s funny you didn’t mention Melbourne Rebels ???

What is the point of the Barbarians game, honestly?

Who’s you’re line out caller and general?

Michael Cheika's merry-go-round must stop - Part 2

I was a bit disappointed with the bookies- I was hoping for a 35.5 margin start to bet on the Wallabies!

Wallabies vs All Blacks Bledisloe Cup first Test preview and prediction

I like Harry Jones’ description of “matador” 🙂

Beale is back as Michael Cheika reveals his Wallabies team for Bledisloe 1

Once upon a time ago there was a saying “Walk very quietly and carry a big stick”, Qld SOO team knows this very well and so do the AB’s.

Positive “expressing yourself waffle” does sfa for players and supporters – Foley’s etc who give free sound bites need gaffa tape applied and Hooper as our Captain needs to be understated and more subtle/humble.

The game will show how much hard work has actually been done!

Hope they can do it.

Coleman: We can beat the All Blacks

Still a waste of money when he can’t play in his actual position when anointed people are around. More of an enticement to return really, but I’m sure you’ll have some ARU sychophant reply with one sided retorts.

Forrest prepares injunction, says ARU "famous for bleeding money"

Hey Marto, it’s a pity Cheika doesn’t pick teams to match his words – this would be his team.
1. Sio
2. TPN
3. Alaalatoa
4. Coleman
5. Arnold
6. RHP
7. McMahon
8. Timani
9. Gordon/Ruru
10. Lance
11. Korobiete
12. Meakes
13. TK
14. Folau
15. Hodge
16. Latu
17. Smith
18. Kepu
19. Tui
20. Higginbotham
21. Gordon/Ruru
22. Cooper
23. Beale

In your face and abrasive 1-15. No need to hide anyone unless some spark is needed.

Beale softens the Hunt Bledisloe blow

And more importantly,a pretty good nationally competitive netball team!

Michael Cheika names Wallabies train-on squad for Bledisloe Cup

Hi Fionn, Couldn’t add my two bits below – As I understand Cheika is contracted to 2019 and Larkham is signed to 2021 I think. Eddie Maguire succession in place. Correct me if I’m not accurate with dates, I like winning games just as much as the next person. Cheers

Michael Cheika names Wallabies train-on squad for Bledisloe Cup

The ARU is going to pack the stadiums with this crew ?

Michael Cheika names Wallabies train-on squad for Bledisloe Cup

He talks pretty good for the SMH as well, if he yaps it up we’re always in for a hiding against good opposition. Click bait champion!

Mr Forrest and Mr Cox should keep their teams but join forces on a double pronged front to drive the FUBARU into administration and dissolve the board. Reset the votes so Qld and NSW don’t have the same voting power, dissolve the player contract and top ups and Kill the North Shore Old Boys network. Now that would be something to see!.
Won’t happen tho?

Forrest indicates support for flagging Force

I’m a bit dissappointed that you didn’t add the possibility of a 2018 win ?

Tahs tunnel through what they thought was rock bottom against Force

Sounds like you want them to play like the Western Force do?

Reds won't rush to splash cash on rebuild

Our National Coach needs to stand up and make a statement. These guys aren’t focused on Super Rugby, they’re making sure there hair styles are nice for the upcoming RC. Gibson is on the way out if what Hooper has said if it is true – “Hooper said the team lacked belief in what they were trying to do” – Shades of McKenzie.
Cheika needs ‘to walk very quietly and carry a big stick’. No Tahs players at all in the side, Folau excluded, and see what happens. He’ll get more buy in out of the players if he does!
Make a statement and bugger the Top ups and what the player contracts state!

Bad to worse for Waratahs

Pretty true what Bruce said tho.

When it comes to the Wallabies, it's the hope that gets you

Yep! I’d bring Gill on for Hooper at 7 and Hooper out to take Horne’s place on the wing. CLL on for Foley, Timani at 8.

Rust turns into dross as Wallabies face a 0-3 series debacle

Pity Cheika didn’t bite the bullet and chuck Gill on the side and McCalman to No 8 and put Hooper on the wing instead of Horne. Beserker on the bench. No Mumm and no Palu.

Cheika makes four changes to Wallabies' starting side for second Test

Great comment and agree totally on all points and would throw Nabuli in as well till he learns some form of kicking skills. I don’t understand Horne’s inclusion as its a wasted spot without Beale there to cover for defensively. Hooper is still the 5th best openside in Oz.

World class flanker Liam Gill dropped from Wallaby squad
