The Roar is one of the fastest growing sports sites in Australia.
Since launching late-2007, The Roar has grown to reach peaks of 600,000 unique browsers monthly.
Each month, The Roar publishes over 330 edited fan articles (Roar of the crowds) and 30,000 comments. Every 5 days, the equivalent of War and Peace (560,000 words) is written on our site by our highly engaged audience. We have exclusive Fanzone arrangements with Cricket Australia, the Australian Rugby Union, and the All Blacks.
The business is run by Conversant Media. In late 2010 we welcomed Network 10 as a minority shareholder. We have offices in Sydney, Newcastle and Austin (USA). …Austin? Yes. Long story…
We know how to build and run compelling, beautifully executed sites which reach hard to reach audiences. We’re now offering opportunities to be involved in this growing business.
As a small team, we’re seeking smart people who are great to work with and want to be involved at an early stage of a growing company.
