Netball

Formed in 1895 by female sports pioneer Clara Gregory Baer, Netball is primarily known as a female sport which is played by over 20 million people ranging from 70 countries. Although nations such as Sri Lanka, West Indies and the United Kingdom share interest in Netball, the two most powerful nations in the sport are Australia and New Zealand. Netball was founded as an Olympic sport in 1995, perhaps paving the way for Netball to make a return to the Olympics.
