The 2011 NRL Grand Final will see Manly Sea Eagles vs New Zealand Warriors, taking place on Sunday October 2 at ANZ Stadium. Manly will enter the match as warm favourites after a consistent season in the NRL Premiership but it is the Warriors who have the momentum in the NRL Finals.

On the only occasion between Manly Sea Eagles and New Zealand Warriors in the 2011 NRL Premiership, Manly Sea Eagles won 20-10.

Manly Sea Eagles have appeared in 17 NSWRL/ARL/NRL Grand Finals, winning seven. Their most recent NRL Premiership was in 2008 when they defeated Melbourne Storm 40-0, the highest winning margin in the history of NSWRL/ARL/NRL Grand Finals.

Since their inception in 1995, the New Zealand Warriors have played in one NRL Grand Final, losing 32-8 to the Sydney Roosters in 2002.

New Zealand Warriors have the momentum going into the clash after beating the highly fancied West Tigers and title favourites Melbourne Storm, but they will start as $2.50 outsiders, with Manly well supported at $1.50.

The match will be broadcast on Channel Nine live, and will kick off at 5.20pm ADST.
