It has always been hard to win in India, and the Indians always deliberately bowl slow over rates to frustrate batting sides. And it works. Plus, look at the bowling talent the selectors sent. Uninspiring to say the least.
And do not get me started on coaches nobody’s ever heard of.
Bring back Bobby Simpson or the like, someone who has experienced playing the game at the highest level, and in particular battled on the home turf of our adversaries.
Kim Hughes was also villified all those years ago when he had no truley top level players and ended up falling on his own sword, thanks in the main to our very own self-righteous media.

Agreed. The Australian media has taken a nasty turn in recent years with elements confusing villification with journalism. Peter Roebuck is an excellent example. (By the way I thought you werent allowed into this country if you had a criminal record?)
