Afridi bowls Pakistan out of trouble

By therookie / Roar Pro

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has saved his side from a humiliating loss against Canada. Pakistan struggled to score runs with the bat as they could only reach 184 before being bowled out.

Pakistan came into bowl and started well as they got the underdogs 3/44 before a 60 run fourth wicket parternship turned the tables once more.

Saeed Ajmal trapped Zubin Surkari (27) to break the parternship.

Shahid Afridi stepped in to take the next four wickets of: Hansra (43), Cheema (4), Gordon (9) and Baidwan (0).

To his credit following those wickets he got a run out.

Replacement bowler Whahab Riaz snatched the final wicket to give Pakistan a 46-run win.

There is that. Afridi's get out shot was woeful and so was the LBW that followed.

ICC better investigate Canada. They clearly fixed that result in Pakistan's favour.
