I presume that sooner or later this year, Foxtel will get around to asking their subscribers what they would like to see on the new channel. Or maybe I’m kidding myself and they won’t bother.
I would like to see a lot more replays of the previous rounds’ games. As it stands now, there is one replay of each game, and if it happens to be at a time you are not available, tough.
I would also like to see less of shows like “Yesterdays’ Heroes” and the Spud/Dunstall confrontations. I wrote to Fox Sports and told them I thought these were mildly funny in the beginning but soon became boring.
The carry over into “After the Bounce” is starting to ruin that show, also. (Who cares if these guys can spell? They were good footballers and I’d rather think of them that way than as second rate comedians.)
Maybe some football skills show that might help kids improve (at an appropriate hour) or how about a show specifically designed to help us dummies with our Dream Team selections?
There must be a million and one ideas with merit!
