Sharks knock out champion Bulls

The NSW Waratahs qualified for the Super Rugby finals with a 41-7 victory over the Brumbies at ANZ Stadium last night.

Queensland Reds clinched top spot on the Super Rugby competition table with a crucial 19-11 grinding victory over the Chiefs in the wet at Hamilton.

The Crusaders secured the New Zealand conference with a 16-9 win over the Hurricanes in Wellington.

The Sharks made the six-team play-offs at the expense of the Bulls after beating the twice defending champions 26-23 in Pretoria.
