The Wallabies meet the All Blacks at Eden Park in New Zealand in a hotly anticipated clash between heavyweights in a Rugby World Cup year. Join The Roar’s Spiro Zavos from 12:30pm as he answers your questions ahead of the first Bledisloe Cup game.

A huge crowd is expected, with more than 50,000 tickets already sold for the clash at the redeveloped Eden Park.

Robbie Deans has promised a game of daring rugby from the Wallabies although some would ask if playmaker Quade Cooper knows any other way.

“There’s no point picking blokes and then shackling them,” said Deans.

“There will be a lot of rugby played. Neither side will have walked off the ground without having chanced their arm.”

However, the All Blacks will be endeavouring to stifle the Wallabies, with the strongest All Blacks team available to him selected for the game.

All Blacks hooker Kevin Mealamu has come out to take aim at the Wallabies scrum, one area expected to be dominated by the “weapon” New Zealanders, with Australian prop Benn Robinson out and in grave doubt for the Rugby World Cup with a serious knee injury.

“Certainly two years ago if we lost a bloke like Benn Robinson it would have been the end of the world,” said Deans.

“We’ve worked hard and we believe we’ve made progress and we get to test that on Saturday.”

Will the Wallabies forwards be ruthlessly destroyed by the All Blacks might, or will the hard-running Wallabies run the legs off the older hard men of New Zealand? Will it matter if Quade Cooper doesn’t bring his kicking boots?

The Roar’s Rugby guru Spiro Zavos will be responding to your questions live from 12.30pm today.
