Sharpe must be in, especially if Elsom stays as some one has to be the real on field captain when Rocky goes missing in action

Rob Simmonds (QLD) 10. Sitaleki Tamani (NSW) 11. Dan Vickerman (NSW) 12. Scott Higginbotham (QLD) 13. Rocky Elsom (ACT) 14. Radeke Samo (QLD) 15. Wycliff Palu (NSW) 16. Dave Pocock (WA) 17. Beau Robinson (QLD) Backs: 18. Will Genia (QLD) (C) 19. Luke Burgess (NSW) 20. Quade Cooper (QLD) 21. Berrick Barnes (NSW) 22. Anthony Faainga (QLD) 23. Adam-Ashley Cooper (ACT) 24. Matt Giteau (QLD) 25. James O’Connor (WA) 26. Digby Ioane (QLD) 27. Rod Davies (QLD) 28. Lachlan Turner (NSW) 29. Kurtley Beale (NSW) 30. Drew Mitchell (NSW) Captain - James Horwill runs the forwards with Vice Captain Will Genia running the backs. Test A Team 1.Sekope Kepu (NSW) 2. Totafu Polota Nau (NSW) 3. Ben Robinson (NSW) 4. Sitaleki Tamani (NSW) 5. James Horwill (QLD) 6. Scott Higginbotham (QLD) 7. David Pocock (WA) 8. Radiki Samo (QLD) What a formibdable starting pack!!!!!! Beef with ball handling and some potential agro if we can get Tamani to fire up. 9. Will Genia (QLD) 10. Quade Cooper (QLD) 11. Digby Ioane (QLD) 12. James O'Connor (WA) 13. Anthony Faainga (QLD) 14. Drew Mitchell (NSW) 15. Kurtley Beale (NSW) Size in the backs compensated for by more strike power and beef in the forwards.Digby to defend at 10 O'Connor and Faainga can tackle but Digby adds more required muscle to the defensive line. Enough strike weapons balanced with a decent tackler and turnover specialist in Anthony Faainga. the Bench 16. Stephen Moore (ACT) 17. James Slipper (QLD) 18. Rocky Elsom (ACT) 19. Dan Vickerman (NSW) 20. Wycliff Palu (NSW) 21. Berrick Barnes (NSW) 22. Adam Ashley Cooper (ACT) I've stacked the bench with impact forwards as I believe that in the cold and wet conditions this is where the key games will continue to be one or lost. Only issue is cover for Genia but he is a tough little bugger. Gits could be an option for Barnes in this case as he can play half back at a stretch. AAC gets the utility spot provided he performs in the next two games otherwise that could go to Giteau (I hate to go there though). Hey Robbie - do you like my team? There is method to my madness. In form players with proven Super 15 combinations. A beefy intimidating tight 5 with solid scrummaging, height and great ball running forwards in Higgers and Samo. Pocock to do his thing but play tight. Enough skills in the backline to strke, counter and defend. Strike weapons and experience on the bench. I think it is a good pack and that is what the Wallabies have really lacked - a solid forwards platform. As someone said again today on the forums the forward win Rugby Games, the backs decide by how much! Go the Wallabies. Robbie, Jim and David - I know you are reading this so feel free to borrow my selection logic and thank me on the 24th of October.
