Cowboys vs Sharks: live scores, blog

By The Roar / Editor

The Cowboys will look to arrest a three-game losing slide as they host the Sharks tonight. For the home side, a top four spot and precious home final is on the line. We’ll have live score updates at the commencement of the match at 7.30pm (AEST).

As paradoxical as it may sound, the Cowboys have gone backwards since the the return of star halfback and captain Johnathon Thurston.

They were pitiful at home to the Broncos are fortnight ago, and threw away a 12-point margin in the last ten minutes to lose the unloseable last Friday night against South Sydney.

For the Sharks, it has been another stuttering season for the club from the Shire.

If luck had fallen their way last weekend they could have beaten the Roosters in what ended 36-25 loss, albeit an entertaining one. They regain Albert Kelly for this match, who has not played since suffering a broken leg in Round 7.

They’ll be looking to throw the ball around again tonight, but if Neil Henry’s Cowboys have any designs on the NRL Premiership, they simply must win here, and no doubt they’ll be looking for inspiration from Thurston.

We won barely not our best performance by the Cowboys the injuries and the early try stun them for a while. A win a win I be watching Warriors vs Dragons with great interest. Cowboys vs Warriors will decide 4th spot.

We are playing woefully ..i know teams have good runs of form & bad runs ..we are in the middle of a bad bad form slump,& if we dont start picking up we will be cannon fodder in the finals. Plus JT is playing at about 50% ..he is way off his game . Now Tariq Sims has a suspected broken ankle... Not looking good.

I'm confident of an win tonight the golden point loss last year to the Sharks was the worst moment of last year and trust me there was alot of bad ones last year, I expect Cowboys to show there dominance and prove to everyone to the NRL it's not a 3 horse race between Manly,Storm and Broncos (ugh).
