NBA: The new Twitter hashtags for Jeremy Lin

By Dan Talintyre / Roar Guru

Jeremy Lin is taking over the world. It seems that after six straight wins for the New York Knicks—and six incredible wins mind you—Lin is easily the most talked about player in the National Basketball Association.

And as if 136 points in his first five starts weren’t enough, Jeremy Lin is now taking over Twitter.

Whilst #Linsanity and #Linning continue to dominate the Trending Topics, it’s time for some etiquette.

It’s getting a little out of hand.

Make your tweets creative and different to everyone else and you’ll be an #LinstantSuccess. Here’s 50 hashtags for use when Jeremy Lin does his thing.

And as always, may the best man Lin.

Enjoy.

— Lin’s appeal is across all genres.

48. #SwashbuckLin

— even Pirates around the world are getting into Jeremy Lin.

49. #LinnersAreGrinners

— no, seriously, they are.

50. #EverydayImShuffLin

— imagine how the Twitter world would react if Lin’s signature move after a game-winning shot was a little bit of LMFAO?

Now that really would be something to write home about.

Feel free to provide your own Twitter hashtags, or use any on this list that you like. But use them wisely and liberally – don’t get caught up on one.

This is because Jeremy Lin, and all the sensational hype that comes with him, might just be here to stay.

I swear the NY Times have picked some of the absolute worst ones. Just no excuse when you have over 400 thousand to choose from haha. Can understand some people getting tired of all the Lin puns, but to those people I say this: Enjoy it, it's a real Linderella story.

Being a long time knicks fan (sufferer since before the turn of the millennium) it's really great to see this kid do well. Can only hope he keeps it rolling and that he can also help Carmelo get his groove going. But hey, were back to .500!

Grew up a Celtics fan and always will be. Doesn't mean I can't jump on board the Lin train though. Especially compared to my agin C's! Haha. Who do you follow Cam?

Good article. I haven't been this excited or interested in the NBA since Jordan played. Lin is a breath of fresh air. I hope he continues to shine.

Nice article. I watched Lin's game last night in their final second victory that came from his three ball. His PER is up there with Jordan and many other big, big names. One area that he needs to focus on is his turnovers however when you're winning the game with a last second shot...who remembers your 10 turnovers anyway. @Dan - are you a Knicks fan or which team?
