The St George Illawarra Dragons will be looking to avoid a third consecutive loss when they host the Newcastle Knights at WIN Jubilee Oval to kick 0ff round seven of the NRL. We’ll have live scores from the kick-off at 7.35pm AEST.

After a 17-6 win over the reigning premiers, Manly, three weeks ago it looked like the Dragons had not skipped a beat under new coach Steve Price, sitting pretty in the top four.

It’s been a rocky ride since.

They were handled comfortably by the Broncos two weeks ago and then suffered a humiliating 12-0 shutout in last week’s local derby against the Sharks.

Tonight offers them the chance to get back onto the winners’ list and with former coach Wayne Bennett coming back into town, the home side will need no extra motivation.

Newcastle, who sit 3-3, have not won consecutive games this season and after last week’s scrappy win over the Eels, will need to improve drastically to buck that trend tonight.

Despite reassurances from Hunter Sports Group supremo Nathan Tinkler, the Knights have been dragged into the furore surrounding the demise of A-League club Newcastle Jets during the week and it will be interesting to see how the team reacts tonight.

These two sides met in a thrilling if mistake-riddled contest to open the 2012 season at Hunter Stadium in March, with the Dragons snatching a 15-14 win off the boot of Jame Soward in golden-point.

Neither side have been able to light up the scoreboard in recent weeks and it would come as no surprise to see a similiar scoreline play out tonight.

Who takes it? Find out from 7.35pm AEST as we cover all of the action with live scores throughout and if you’re watching, listening or simply following along, don’t hesitate to give us a shout in the space below.
