Fremantle vs Adelaide: AFL live scores

By The Roar / Editor

Fremantle will look to bounce back from a disastrous couple of weeks against Adelaide. We’ll have live scores from 4.40pm AEST.

Ross Lyon has been on the receiving end of criticism throughout the week for where the Dockers currently find themselves.

Two weeks ago they were uncompetitive against Hawthorn and last week they lost the Western Derby to West Coast by 48 points.

To the club’s credit, they held the Eagles goalless until eight minutes into the second quarter, a sign Lyon’s emphasis on defence is being executed well at times.

But what followed was a disaster. Freo kicked just five goals for the game and Michael Barlow’s 25 disposals was the team-high.

They are in tenth place with five wins and four losses.

As for Adelaide, their impressive run of form had elevated them to premiership contender status.

It came to an end last week, however, with Collingwood getting an impressive 26-point road win at AAMI Stadium.

Matthew Jaensch had a huge game with 28 touches, but the Crows were held goalless in the decisive final term.

It was the Crows’ second loss of the season and sent them to third place on the ladder. Collingwood, in fourth, are the only other seven-win team.

Garrick Ibbotson, Jack Anthony and debutant Hayden Crozier come into the Fremantle side, with Jay van Berlo, Alex Silvagni and Jonathon Griffin all out.

Adelaide are bringing in Taylor Walker and Sam Shaw for David Mackay and Ricky Henderson.
