Friday night Australian time, the Australian one-day team will begin its five match series against a rampant English side.

Anybody who still pays attention to cricket this time of year knows that the Poms have been on a roll after whitewashing the West Indies when they came to visit recently.

A great talking point at the beginning of each series is who will be in the team for the first one-day match.

The Poms seemed to have settled on a line-up with the familiar names of: Cook, Bell, Trott, Bopara, Morgan, Kieswetter, Bresnan, Swann, Broad, Anderson and Finn.

Playing five specialist bowlers has become a specialty of the English side. It seems to be getting them results.

The Australian line-up is one that has many people talking. We don’t know what the selectors are thinking.

From what we have seen so far, it seems that the selectors are looking to give some youngsters a real shot in a bid to give them experience before next year’s Ashes.

I believe that the best team would be: Watson, Warner, Bailey, Clarke, D.Hussey, Smith, Wade, Lee, Mckay and Cummins.

Barring a spinning track, the likes of Hussey and Smith will be able to contribute a few overs, along with Watson and Clarke.

What do you think, Roarers? Who will run out for England and Australia?
