Richmond vs North Melbourne: AFL live scores

By The Roar / Editor

Seasons could be ignited or practically ended as Richmond host North Melbourne in a battle two sides just below the eight. We’ll have live scores from 3.15pm AEST.

Some might say Richmond’s season evaporated with the events of last weekend, and maybe that’s true, but a win against the 9th-placed North Melbourne would see them gain ground on at least one of their finals-chasing rivals.

As for North, they have an opportunity not only to bury a team very much on its tail, it may be able to return to the top eight if it claims the four points.

All this sets up a heated encounter between two sides that’ll be desperate for the win.

Last week the Tigers had a horror final minute against the Gold Coast Suns, becoming the first side to lose to the club this season. The final margin was four points thanks to an after-the-siren goal from Karmichael Hunt.

Jack Riewoldt had five goals and Robin Nahas four, with the leaders elsewhere being Trent Cotchin (38 touches, 10 marks), Brett Deledio (36 and eight) and Brandon Ellis (24 and 12).

The Kangaroos got up against Carlton on Friday night, winning by 53 points.

Drew Petrie was the big talking point thanks to his equal career-high seven goals. Lachie Hansen had four goals to his name. Daniel Wells had 26 disposals, five tackles and a goal.

Ivan Maric and Dustin Martin are in line for a return for the Tigers, both massive ins. Meanwhile, Jack Ziebell is the main out at North due to suspension.

AFLhype, you are in serious troll territory. Not just the bad spelling and infantile comments, but more the fact you're a complete twat.

Absolutely brilliant game, open, flowing and spiteful. Had everything with the vocal crowd to boot.
